Jeremy Clarkson dropped from Top Gear

    Jeremy Clarkson's contract will not be renewed after an "unprovoked physical attack" on a Top Gear producer, as said by BBC's director general.

    Seems like the end of Top Gear. How do you guys feel about it?
    Should Top Gear continue without Clarkson or will it be the end of Top Gear ever?

    Top Gear shouldn't continue, it isn't right without Jeremy Clarkson. Hopefully his next endeavor on 'the box' will be just as good as Top Gear was.

    Jeremy Clarkson is a massive twat, I don't like him, and imo he should have been fired ages ago.

    Well Top Gear wont be the same without Jeremy Clarckson. But on the other hand I think the BBC did the right thing with firing him. It shouldn't be allowed in any workspace to phisically attack your co-workers. Neither if they are ranked above or below you.

    Not really, a famous tv presenter just got sacked. Off of a huge show. Not much.


    This news is like 2 weeks old, where you guys been? xDD

    News article is only 3 hours old. He wasn't "dropped" before, they only stopped filming to review the case.

    Some said fired back then, the fact that this news article is 3 hours old doesnt mean much, other than they may have added stuff etc, got more info.

    He was suspended while the investigation was pending. Today the BBC announced that they won't renew his ending contract.

    Same thing, the speculations were that he was sacked/was getting sacked. We all knew that he was not gonna be staying, hes not exactly the nicest of people.

    They're going to continue Top Gear with some other hosts, I heard.

    So Top Gear's pretty much dead. Even though Clarkson was being a huge prick for quite some time already, it isn't quite Top Gear without him.
