As pointed out by @spindel@spindel there are some loop holes with the VSH rules and the general FoG rules. So, I have taken it upon myself to make this in-depth thread. In this thread I will post all rules relevant to the VSH server and ban guidelines for admins (these also include comm guidelines if ban is unnecessary), this does include rules visibly in place in the official server rules, sorry but we need to repeat in order to clear up everything. These are the official server rules but the ban lengths are only advised and are subject to change based on the person, situation, and the admin. An admin may use different ban lengths if they feel it is the right thing to do, all bans are at admin discretion. Bans are also only given after warning, slay, kick. Admins are always advised and told to warn before banning so please keep this in mind, these ban lengths are to be done after the advised warning. An accumulation of 3 bans within 2 months is an automatic perma ban.

    FoG Non-VSH Specific Rules:
These rules are also listed in TF2 Server Rules and all of the "§1 General", "§2 Chat & Voice", "§3 Additional behavioural / gameplay rules", "§4 Other" rules apply as well as the ban proceedings listed there.

    VSH Specific Rules:
This is where we now go into the difference between the FoG TF2 Server Rules and the VSH rules. These rules override any relevant rules listed in the FoG TF2 Server Rules.
    • No friendlying with the enemy - Whether you are a boss or a member of the team fighting the boss, friendlying with the enemy is forbidden. Ban proceedings - It is recommended to ban for 4 hours for first offence ever or outside of 2 months from last ban. If the user has been banned once and within the last 2 months for any reason, proceed with a 1 day ban.
    • No favouritism/teaming with the enemy - This applies to the boss ignoring specific people until they are the last one(s) alive or let their friend/enemy damage him in peace to build rage or give them the win. This also includes team members helping the boss kill his team intentionally in any way (example: applying an über on a demoknight to make him feel safe to attack and then removing the über from him and letting hale kill him). Ban proceedings - It is recommended to ban for 4 hours for first offence ever or outside of 2 months from last ban. If the user has been banned once and within the last 2 months for any reason, proceed with a 1 day ban.
    • No camping/baiting/hiding/timewasting as the boss - You are a character that has thousands of health and instantly kill most users with melee, waiting for users (of which have none of these characteristics) is wasting time, unsportsmanlike and unfair to the team players so now we ban bosses who camp excessively. Running away as the boss or wasting time as the boss is also prohibited, its boring and no fun for the rest of us. The reason this only applies to the boss is because classes like heavy, engineer, and sniper are often meant to camp, not to mention they will die almost instantly to the boss so its not like they are guaranteed to kill the boss if they camp unlike the boss. Ban proceedings - It is recommended to ban for 4 hours for first offence ever or outside of 2 months from last ban. If the user has been banned once and within the last 2 months for any reason, proceed with a 1 day ban.
    • No ghosting - Ghosting is when a player not currently playing gives information of other players position, let them figure out for themselves where the enemy is. Ban proceedings - It is recommended to just comm block the user for about 30 minutes for first offence. If the user has been blocked from chat or voice before within the last 2 months for any reason, proceed with 1 hour block, if they continue just extend to what you feel reasonable for the situation.
    • No exploiting/glitching/getting to unreachable spots - If the spot you are on cannot be reached with the boss' abilities or if any red alive can't damage the boss in the spot he is at, it is considered exploiting and is bannable (note that sentry and other forms of knockback do NOT count towards this, if the boss can normally superjump to a spot but knockback is preventing them from reaching it, then it is okay). Ban proceedings - It is recommended to ban the user for about 1 month if first offence ever or outside 2 months from last ban, 2 months if the user has been banned before once and within the last 2 months for any reason. Due to the 3 bans in 2 months rule, make exception with this offence if you have to ban 3 times for exploiting in a row, it is okay to proceed with perma ban in this situation.
    • As member of team, do NOT hide or do nothing - Camping is allowed as I stated already above for team members only. However, hiding (alongside dealing no damage) is an exception to this and you will be warned and slayed for excessively doing this. Ban proceedings - It is recommended to ban for 4 hours for first offence ever or outside of 2 months from last ban. If the user has been banned once and within the last 2 months for any reason, proceed with a 1 day ban.
Things you cannot report a user for:
These things are not reasons to call an admin or report to an admin about. If a user uses the !report command abusively/spam/without proper reason, then it is recommended to ban for 1 week if first offence ever or outside 2 months from last ban, extend to 2 weeks if the user has been banned before once and within the last 2 months for any reason. To note for admins: make exception from ban if you see fit of course.
    • Any player capping the point to win - Although you may not enjoy a player capping the point to win, it is not bannable nor a reason to call an admin to the server for.
    • The boss uses rage for any reason - As a player on the team, it isn't fun to be killed by rage or have your team lose because the boss raged. But, this is not bannable nor a reason to call an admin for.
    • For fun - This is report abuse no matter what, even admins are discouraged from banning friends for fun or as a joke. If you report someone for fun or as a joke you will be banned.
    • Rock, Paper, Scissors (RPS) - If 2 users wish to use the RPS taunt with the enemy they are allowed and it is not a bannable offence, however, it is advised you do this at the end when only 1 member of the team is left alive. This thing "you cannot report a user for" can be more of an exception and will not earn you a ban if you report for it unless you have been warned enough beforehand, nor will you be banned if you partake in the RPS taunt. A player will also not be banned for using RPS to bait the enemy unless they do it excessively in which case it falls under the baiting rule above.
I now wish to finalise this main post with a thank you for taking the time to read the VSH server rules and ban guidelines. Please feel free to comment below any constructive criticism and any loopholes in these rules. Any users who shitpost here will be dealt within the appropriate manner as this is against forum rules so be warned.
