    Due to the general response, I have changed my opinion to Keep TGB.

    That will be all from me on this topic.

    I believe you can use adblock to block the whole section and then it's like it doesn't exist anymore

    No, that's because Valve essentially killed of inviters, therefore I am unable to send out any invites to gain new people.
    And barely any of those visit the forums here.

    Well, this might explain why we are losing members, but my theory still stands.

    I do, if you don't like to look at it, just right-click on it, hit "block this ad on this page" (Make sure your right-clicked on the "TGB" link and not anywhere else) and move the slider until you see this:
    <LI
    id="forum54"
    class="forumbit_post new L2" >

    I wasn't even using a meme and I was being sincere, calm down and keep it civil.

    I did, and that will help you "ignore" it. Many forums have a TGB and nobody is crying about it.

    "But zefeel ignore it" I can't, I have been a member for a really long time, I have donated, I was an admin I saw this community and it has changed, its not better now its worse.

    Removing TGB will not really give you a satisfactory end result anyway, Zefeel.

    Your theory is based on it being a big picture of immaturity...
    ...but think about how few people actually use the forum, and as well as the people in itself.
    (It also requires you to be logged in, further suggesting hardly anyone but those already on the forums seeing it are actually seeing it).
    Removing the forum section aren't going to change who they are.

    TBG gets removed ---> memes move to shoutbox. Is that what you want? Just keep it and let people vent their feelings and freshly baked memes... If that's what they want.

    Well, I can now safely say TGB has destroyed any shred of reputation FoG had left, should of removed the immature admins and that cancer forum a long time ago.

    Don't you guys think you're giving TGB too much credit? How can one sub forum completely ruin/destroy an entire community?
    Yes, r34 is awful, pony porn is awful, memes are childish and stupid and TGB serves no practical purpose, but it's not harming anything.

    What's really concerning is that this is one of the most active threads right now, a thread about removing a dumpster. Don't we have better things to discuss? Better things to burden ourselves with? Shouldn't we finish implementing the changes to the community before we start working on this?

    And as far as immature admins go, that's another argument entirely and it's being worked on with the "changes to the community" thread, hopefully we'll get more serious people then.

    Sorry Wandolf, I had no idea you liked immature admins that destroy FoG's reputation which is why we are losing members from our forum, just going to point out what Zefeel said, imagine a new member strolling up here, he/she thinks it's nice at first, then they find that cancerous bullshit sub thread, and if you've ever been to the TGB it's just a bunch of idiots spamming memes and making and spamming threads, also pony porn is awful, do you know what is also contained in the TGB? pony porn and memes and like you said, TGB serves no purpose.

    Since I'm probably one of the immature admins I just wanted to say that we can handle things without acting like idiots.
    It's only common sense that admins should not involve TGB with the normal forums.
    Wanted to point that out,have a fine day.

    First off, I've been to TGB after zefeel told me to go see for myself and yes, the situation is shocking to say the least.
    Secondly, no, I don't want immature admins destroying the forums/servers, but again, that's a different topic entirely and it's addressed in the "Changes to the community thread".
    Thirdly, my opinion about letting TGB stay is shifting to the "remove" side in light of recent evidence.
    And finally, TGB, no matter what happens to it, is the last piece of the problem, we aren't getting any members and it's not completely TBG's fault, mostly because you have to actually become a member to view it's contents. What this means is that, while TGB can put some people that actually made accounts off, it also means it's not an immediate threat as no new accounts are being made anyways.

    Guys, please keep to remember some things, TGB has OFFENSIVE content, and EXPLICIT content. I for one feel like this subforum is an EXCUSE to post these threads and more like them. Why do we need the TGB when we can just forbid it entirely, I agree with zefeel. I went on there for 5 minutes and wish I had never been there. I would never want to join a community if I saw threads such as the 9/11 jokes on a forum. This would deter me away from it and probably make me never return.

    I have to admit, the explicit material I hear it contains makes me hesitate to visit it.

    I really don't care as I said if it stays or gets removed, but if you're going to keep it; at least keep it under a tight leash.

    Edit: After more consideration, I have come to realize that I feel TGB to be more awful than the appeal it brings.
    In other words, I change my stance towards removing it.

    I haven't personally been in there in a long time, I mostly just did a few silly threads to provoke some light humour.

    The fuck have you guys been upto in there?
