Move forum games?

And again, I really don't see your problem with me moving it.
The only arguments you've given me are against the thread being removed from the lists on the front page.
I've come up with a solution to this but have yet to hear any proper arguments against this one.

I'm starting to believe this is only to remain in the top 10 posters list, but I could be wrong.

Forums Games are for people who doesn't only want Admin Apps, Suggestions or even Trades.

As I can remember, he said once that he'll give warnings for shitposting /that he'll take care of threads (or something like that)
So , that's his Job and now he's complaining?

The problem I have is the entire premise - the point of moving the thread.

Post inflation? This you have yet to tell us how it is a concern.

"Its a shitpost thread" - No, people are playing by the rules. On a few rare occasions it has happened, yes, but it doesn't even make 1% of the entire thread. Why haven't you simply moderated and warned the fellows doing it? You're the forum moderator, aren't you?

Purpose - Another question that you have kept dodging - The point of moving the thread. Like Pruu has already stated several times, the forum games are not distracting nor spamming anything. If you don't like it, just ignore it and scroll further down the page. Moving it will serve no difference that will improve anything. You have only told us what effects it would have, but we all know it that the effects of moving/changing the thread, makes no improvement to the forum whatsoever.

There may be some minor issues, but that's hardly reason enough to change it.

It's like if someone started to argue we should stop allowing people to make admin applications just "because they are a waste of our time and 90% of them gets declined".
It's a trivial concern.

 

If it all goes down to the thread annoying people and/or inflating post count, then remove the posts and/or ignore thread button.

The easiest way to do this, and for all to be happy. Is making a "ignore thread" button.

Yet, you have to give me an argument as to why to not move this subforum.

My concern with the post inflation is that is no longer displays a proper view of the posts.
I mean, seriously. You have posted over 350 times in this thread, all posts consisting out of no more than three words.
When the subforum is moved it'll show people the posts that are actually worth something.

 

I've already given the simple answer to that: there is no point in doing so.
For posts that "aren't worth" something, you could just moderate them. Noname has just recently removed 20 unrelated posts in the thread, and that's how we should handle it.

If a post was concerning a thread and this is how we'd handle the problems, we'd have so many threads "moved" due to it being "shitpost central".
Last time I recall a thread being a problem it got locked. Not moved.
Seeing as TWG is playing by the rules..it has no reason for a lock either.

You're trying to put an error sign on something that isn't a real problem, just a personal bother of yours.

I do understand that you do not want to lose your posts (internet points, hooray) but this is just flat out nonsense.

I'll repeat myself once again, the only thing that will change is the post count. The thread will still be in the list on the front page, this kind of makes Dungun's argument invalid.

 

What about we just end it here, i mean its starting to be a "last resort" kind of thing.

Just make a button to ignore a thread, and move along its not that hard to just keep it nice and simple..

Just because Darkregen said he doesn't want to lose his post count, does not mean he is without any rights to have it as his reason to voting.
That's like if I said you can't vote yes for this just because you can't.

Don't try to change something as simple as the rules of democracy.

There is no such magical button Dark. We'd have to make it ourselves, which I doubt is going to happen anytime soon.
