Hey guys, I have a huge favor to ask of you all. Little less than a year ago my little sister, Neve, (aged 10) started to lose her hair; we weren't sure why. We took her to doctor appointments/hospitals etc but to no avail. She gradually lost all her head hair, so she appealed to a charity which gave her a temporary wig, which was not made to fit and the hair wasn't very well looked after by the donator. (Little Princess Trust - A charity to provide real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss) This week she went to a hair specialist and got diagnosed with alopeica. Today, she shaved the rest of her hair off and I promised her I would get her a specially made wig for her needs. I called numerous wig makers and they said to make the wig they would need about £2000 (NOT including the hair needed, without the hair it would be around £2500) to make it to her needs. I have decided to cut my 60cm to 35cm (14 inches gone) and use this this to make her wig out of, as my hair is guaranteed to be healthy and will reduce the cost and she knows who it will be from. Now this is where I ask of your help. I am asking for sponsorship of me cutting my hair to a short length, with which, will fund the making of the wig. This is the website we will use to receive donations: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/eVdT4? We would all be very appreciative if you could support me and my sister. Thank-you, Jenny + Neve <3
Had I money, I'd help out. Though I can wish best of luck. Otherwise, what I can do at this moment is ask if you've tried putting this up on one of those fundraising sites? ..
