Just wondering. Is it possible to get the latest event thread on a nice spot on the front page?

We all know thread wont be read if they are not on the top lists and I think we can attract a little more people this way!

Can you guys update the thread(s) instead of making new ones for every event too please?
Seems good for gathering ideas and keeping it under one hood and review how some went and improve and change them to balance out the demand and keep it fresh and interesting, maybe even keep track of how well/bad some events were received.

Ideas and stuff already happen under the hood!! We got a separate sub-forum for that. Only the actual events will be posted in the weekly events sub-forum. But however if it would happen to have a thread on the front page for events it probably would be easier to edit the chat every time and make it a single thread.

Well, I have found a plugin which allows it to post HTML onto the forum's homepage.
The only problem is that it doesn't have any permission system or w/e, so only I can edit it.

Well, unless somebody finds a vB plugin with permissions, this suggestion won't be implemented.
I don't want to give out full admin access only for editing one plugin's text.

Declining this for now, will post a discussion in the private section later.
