Forum Suggestion - Donator Tags

Hi,

As the title says I think it would be cool if Donators had their tag on the forums, since we got these new admin tags under your avatar. Maybe a different color for Lifetime VIP's.

Would be fair wouldn't you guys think?

You can see the difference between a tag and an avatar if you hover over it with your mouse.

 

I'm on a tablet, and Spartan never had an avatar before so I didn't see anything out of place.

 

For once, something i dont have a problem with. This doesnt really change anything since it isnt like the colored names.

 

Actually, people would get the coloured name as well as the tag, cause your tag is based off of your user group, and so is the colour of your name.

 

Then i see no reason for this to happen, though i do not have a problem with it.

 

Why dont every donator get the same tags as pruu?

I'm gonna quote @Jozzeh on this topic (from the thread linked above).

You come on the forums, you see a donator that has a special colour, a special tag just to tell everyone that they are a vip and then you find out noone else can get it, including your self, it wouldn't be very fair. I'm not saying that we just give people more tags for the sake of it, I'm arguing for equality.

 

Again, n0name pretty much denied the same argument last month, the same argument isn't going to change his mind.

 

A month ago, the ONE forum VIP didn't have this under their name:



Now it feels even more unfair, because all new members get the Member tag, so the member tag is worth nothing. So that leaves VIPs with no meaningful tag at all. But yet to see ONE person with a different coloured name AND a tag stating they are a VIP, that shows that the rest of the VIPs aren't cared about on the forums.

 

I got a solution maybe. And really, this isn't because I'm one myself but this will lower the amount of work.

Give VIP tag on the forums only for Permanent/Lifetime VIP's.

 

I'm just going to say this now, the tag has nothing of value, it's just a green thing to go along side the title he had already. VIP just means you supported the server, you don't need to shove it in my faces, while I understand your feelings, I think that it would be easier for @n0name to just remove the tag etc. that @Pruu has and just leave it at that. But again, I don't see @n0name giving any more VIPs tags so stop asking.

 

This was already suggested.

I'm not sure if noname is working on it. But if he is, give him some time.
Mostly if he does stuff for the forums/servers it will be in the weekends since he is busy with school on weekdays.
