Resolved [FoG] Holoflash - A hidden abuser

I post this with no intention of it sounding like I'm trying to be offensive in any way as I'm sure all of you are aware, but I'm just going to remind you.

If admins doesn't follow the most basic rules themselves, how are we to set a good example for our community. This isn't a question, this is me being blunt and outright.
I've been on our 2fort for quite a while now, and I can only recall seeing Ace, or, Holoflash a couple of times. 3-4 at the most. He was in for a really, really short period of time during all these sessions. I wasn't there though when these screenshots were taken myself, but I'll add to the list of offences, however already mentioned, he's barely there. Sure, privacy is something to be both expected and respected. And in fear of offending the uh, defending party, I haven't seen him ever answering to a report using the !report system. I don't even know if he's a part of it. That in itself isn't that bad, but wouldn't it be best to give the spot on our 2fort server to someone more befitting of the role? Someone, say, more active?

 

Im still interested to see that Ace hasnt said anything.

I feel I should elaborate on the method of getting outside of the map (Since it's how I lost my veteran rights) Essentially, using the /bring command, you can teleport above and around some of the invisible walls on the map and bypass them completely, this is not bug abuse, simply the abuse of a command intended for something a little more.... Positive.

This kind of stuff happened already, long time ago when people used to party on 2fort. Wasn't abuse in an 'evil' way. Well yeah, teleporters to outside of the map, to the control room and when Ace decides that party time is over - everyone explodes and game just gets back to normal. It was fun kind of abuse, and players didn't complain back then.
It depends on the people, I guess. There were no scumbag demomans like the one on the screenshot. (there was a scumbag pyro though, killing all partiers)

Fun times are over, abuse caused unfair advantages, blah blah blah...that !slay was pretty cheap though.
People fuck up sometimes. The only punishment he deserves is a warning, or you forgot about those? Because when I see shit like:
"WE NEED A BETTER ADMIN, SUCH MAN CAN'T REPRESENT OUR COMMUNITY." I'm really fucking confused. Do you want this man to be kicked from admins for THAT!?

If a player thinks it is abuse, and it is justified, then it is what it is. Just because no-one reported him before, doesn't make it right.

To top it all off, your frankly weak points are made completely void by the sheer amount of unnecessary cussing used. Why so mad?

Also, just as a heads-up, a post cannot give you cancer, unless your monitor uses radium or something. If you don't like something, don't look at it.

When did exploding everyone in 2fort become acceptable? It's not trade/achievement where points wouldn't matter so much.

And recall what Dakte said, being a regular on 2fort: only 3-4 times has Dakte seen Ace around there.

You're saying that it's better to keep an inactive admin who has been caught doing this, rather than someone who can be active and not pull these stunts off?

Honestly, calm down Roland. I know I may have been a little dramatic, but the reports aren't faulty. Ace has done wrong and that in itself is worth warning for, but the issue is that he's done several stuff that he's not allowed to.

Don't be mad for something trivial.

I joined forums in January, but I'm playing on 2fort since August 2013. To me, 5-7 months was pretty much long time ago, yes.

I'm not trying to prove it wasn't abuse. It was. It's just that you people are taking it way too serious. He broke the rules, he has to get punishment he deserves, which is a warning. Reading through posts in this thread makes me think like you guys really want this man out. You people make a mountain out of a molehill.

What's the talk about attacking Ace in a group? You mean that other admins are not allowed to share their thoughts on the matter?
It's just like the admin applications - most of us share our opinions and tell whether we'd want to see them as an admin or inform them if they are lacking something for the job.
You're equally as guilty to "attacking" in that case, seeing as this one time you created a gif image, specifically aimed at a person who made an application.

Again, remember: Ace has been abusing *more than once*
He's inactive on the server as witnessed by regulars.

What qualities does he have that makes him better than an active admin that does not abuse?

Anyway. I admit I did these things completley. I had a beer too much but that's no excuse for my actions.
I take full responsibility and will undergo any actions taken without complainment.

I'm deeply ashamed for this, in my whole 2,5 years here I've never been more stupid.

That's what we call a warning. But I think you've already gotten a feeling of that in the first place.

It could have been me that abused. Or someone else.

I edited the first post because despite that we haven't talked much, you don't strike me as someone who really meant all of that.
After all, that's how the rules go: First time's a warning, then a temporary demotion and finally if it happens again complete downstep.

But there's just one thing: the activity.

Are you really inactive? It might be a good idea to take a break incase something is keeping you busy from playing!

 

About the activity, I'm getting 2fort time back up as I've been playing it quite some time lately. DR I kinda have given up on. Waiting for VSH as it was my other server admin spot back in the Punisher Days.

The reason why is my girl had a really rough time. And the main task of a boyfriend is to

- Pay her shopping bills
- Support her every way possible

So yeah, now that things are straightened out, i have more spare time
