CS:GO Surf Tournament #1 January 5th – 7th

It is time to announce the Fortress of Gamers – Surf Tournament #1. The first tournament for the year 2018.

5th of January: 16:00 - 22:00 (4 pm - 10 pm)
6th of January: 17:30 - 22:00 (5.30 pm - 10 pm)
7th of January: 19:30 - 22:00 (7.30 pm - 10 pm)
~all times in CET or UTC +01:00 (please make sure to check your timezone)

Application timeframe: 24.10.2017 – 22.12.2017
We will check every single applicant if he fulfils the requirements!

Requirements:
- Member of the Community (registered in the forum)
- Atleast 12 hours playtime on the servers
- Subscribed to FoGTV
- Joined the FoG Discord (optional for chatting during the tournament)


General:
- Every participant will be in a 1v1 !challenge against other surfers.
- The entire Tournament is limited to 32 Surfers.
- In the BO 1 challenges all maps are choosen randomly.
- In the BO 3 challenges each player chooses 3 maps and 1 is choosen randomly.
- In the BO 5 challenges each player chooses 1 map and 5 are choosen randomly.
- Each player has 2 map vetos in BO 3
- Each player has 1 map veto in BO 5


Rules:
- Only Tier 1-3 Maps
- Only 1v1 in !challenge
- !r and !rs are not allowed (unbind them) usage of these commands will lead to a loss
- All forum & server rules of FoG
- Each player has to be available 15 minutes before his challenge starts.


Best-of-Modus:
- <Quarterfinals: BO 1 (5th of January)
- Quarterfinals: BO 3 (6th of January)
- Semi-finals: BO 3 (6th of January)
- Third Place: BO 5 (7th of January)
- Grand Final: BO 5 (7th of January)


Prices:
- 1st Place: 6 months VIP + 10k credits + Special Discord Role + AK Vulcan (FT)
- 2nd Place: 3 months VIP + 5k credits + Special Discord Role
- 3rd Place: 1 month VIP + 2.5k credits + Special Discord Role
- 4th – 10th: 1000 Credits


FoGTV:
- Quarterfinals (4 Videos)
- Semi-finals (2 Videos)
- Third Place (1 Video)
- Grand Final (1 Video)

+ all challenges will be streamed on FoGTV!

Note:
If an applicant isn't showing up for his challenge for whatever reason he is going to be disqualified for the current and the next tournament.
