Hey there guys. This is my first post. I hope that this subject is kinda appealing.

I was wondering if any of you own instruments, and which instruments as well. If you can also take some pictures, would be interesting to see them ;)
It would also be very interesting to know how long you have been playing your instruments.
Since I study Classical guitar and music composition it's always good to know musicians, not only in the city that I live but also around the globe.

I own one 7 string guitar, 1 6 strings electric guitar, 1 jazz guitar, 1 classical guitar, 1 midi keyboard, 1 cello, 1 tenor saxophone and 1 soprano saxophone.

I have been playing guitar for 9 year now. It's my main instrument. The cello is something I haven't really done yet because I still need a teacher for that instrument. The saxophones are not included in the pictures since I borrowed them to a friend. I don't play saxophone anymore but I used to for only 2 years.

hope you enjoy the photos ;)

For some reason the image of the cello didn't get uploaded, but it doesn't matter. There are enough images already lol

I had a recorder (looks like flute) and I used it to ear rape players on the jailbreak server.

Flute: ~2 years in high school marching band. No longer playing.
Piano: ~3 years on and off (Yamaha YDP S52, I think)
Violin: 12+ years (Scott Cao 1743 Cannon)

Nothing I love more than the sound of the violin (and maybe Downie's singing. #neverforget )

    Awesome!
I would love to hear you play. Do you have recordings?
And what music do you like to play on the Violin?

I have a keyboard and I play on it often. I'm not very good, when I have the time and money (so never?) I'll get lessons. I've had it for about a year and I just smack out rad pokemon songs on it. Pokemon music is my jam.

If you need help I can give you some PDF files. The books teach you from very basic to most complicated etudes. There requirements are that you have to know how to read notes, or else it's going to be hard to play what's in the books ;)

I don't technically own it but I used it more than my mom, so y'know..
Its between 111 years or 91 years old. Or even younger, I am pretty unsure but my Grandma told me something along those lines. You can take my word for it that it's pretty fucking old. I used to play a lot on it but when school got harder (by now like 5 years(-ish) ago) I couldn't find time anymore for practise lessons, etc.
My mom does own a guitarr too but who cares about that.

PS: That thing is so out-tuned that even a pro gave up on trying to fix it

This is awesome man. A shame that no one dares to tune it. I mean, common, it's a very old instrument and that is kinda rare.
A shame you had to stop playing. Hope you can continue at some point.
    Awesome pictures man.

You could pay to borrow a harp. You don't have to buy one. they are obviously very expensive.

You can use the "reply with quote" function to actually make it easier to understand who you are talking to. Make as few posts as possible too. Also a edit funktion is there

QUOTE=Miller1989;92733]You could pay to borrow a harp. You don't have to buy one. they are obviously very expensive.[/QUOTE]

so you could add a second quote if needed
