SweetCat PayPal scammed me of 150 keys ($285). Sweetcat added me to buy keys, he went first. I then had to drive 300 miles home from a friends house. Once I came home, I noticed only $9.40 in my PayPal account. He reversed all the transactions. I didn't save the logs (friend unplugged comp) but this is the user and hopefully I have enough proof to get him marked. And Brian Freedman ([email protected]), you are absolute scum.

Please add me if you have any more questions. I'd be very happy to assist.

Really sorry man. They had added me too, but I rejected them because of the literal no reputation or trading history.

My bp before the trade. The guy is an alt because he threw them off before bp could record them. If you check the keys history, notice it's odd that they went straight from his account to this account before the history was officially recorded with nothing traded in the intermediary.

@Comma@Comma - did you ask for any notes or anything to the paypal transaction? -we would need something that links the paypal transaction together with the steam accuont.

It appears that around 6:42AM Pacific (10:42AM EST), this user charged them all back, likely after moving keys to an alt.

Here is some more additional evidence proving this user bought them all and these occurred around the same time:

Paid at 1:42:33AM Pacific (4:42 EST) for $47.5 and charged back: http://files.f-o-g.eu/c21ea0
Paid at 1:42:35AM Pacific (4:42 EST) for $47.5 and charged back: http://files.f-o-g.eu/ec3e9b
Paid at 1:42:38AM Pacific (4:42 EST) for $47.5 and charged back: http://files.f-o-g.eu/d9c6e7
Paid at 1:42:40AM Pacific (4:42 EST) for $47.5 and charged back: http://files.f-o-g.eu/g3e1bd

The top 4 payments were for $190 and included the 100 keys provided. Here is my confirmation email as proof:

    Time: 4:48am EST (1:48am PDT) http://files.f-o-g.eu/76528d - for 100 keys

After hearing him want another 50 keys and seeing the money in my account, I agreed to sell him 50 more at $1.90 each.

Here are the chargebacks involving the 50 key trade:
Paid at 1:48:47AM Pacific (4:48 EST) for $47.5 (I was selling these keys at $1.90) and later charged back - http://files.f-o-g.eu/01b6g0
Paid at 1:48:45AM Pacific (4:48 EST) for $47.5 and charged back: http://files.f-o-g.eu/78ab6g

Second email confirmation involving the 50 key trade: Trade confirmed at 4:52AM EST (1:52AM Pacific) http://files.f-o-g.eu/c0296e

Sorry if these are a bit clipped but I believe the evidence provided above via my trade offer history should be enough to see that this user took control of my keys and charged them back. It's evident via my backpack's history that the most keys I've had in it since yesterday was 173 keys. I now only have 23 keys. 150 keys are missing and he took control of them.

If an admin wants to view my complete trade history, my email acct, etc and is trusted enough to do so, I would happily take them through my e-mails from G-mail and my trade history via remote computing.

Above, I give a full view of everything including evidence of him confirming that it is his associated email. Sorry, I'd add this to the last post but I can't edit after 5 minutes.

The chat is all good, however you should click on his name and also have hist steam profile visible there. Also, before you take a new screenshot you should go to your settings in steam -> Interface -> "Display Steam URL address when available"

I understand where they were coming from when they were saying their PayPal was limited with passports and such, as my account got limited before. PayPal requires you to send proof of documentation to confirm you own the account in order for you to send any more money. This is in no way related to your money being retracted, as the limitation only goes into place once you send or receive too much money.

Also, you might want to blur out your username from the screenshots you posted (not the ones in the comments).

Hello! This is funny that you have mentioned me as an "ALT", i'm not related to that or any other accounts, i'm a buyer/seller, i'm buying stuff via paypal almost everyday and yes, i bought some tf2 keys from this guy, named Sweetcat, does not remember the amount anymore tho, it was under 300~ keys i think. Anyways, the guy was clean, before i bought something, ofc i've checked him.. and he is still clean on all sites. Anyways, it is sad that you lost your keys, but it is your own fault for not being safe enough. I am 99% sure, that PP account he used to pay for your keys was hijacked. Anyways, take care, i just found out about this forum, only because you left a comment on my bp.tf trust, if i'll remember then i'll come back later to check for any replies, but i said it all..

If he isn't you, what e-mail did he pay with? And you didn't check the history of such a large transaction before buying them? What price did he even sell them to you at?

If you had viewed the keys' history, you would have seen that he was not yet on the history of them, which would have made it quite odd for him to be flipping them so fast. At best, you're extremely negligent in your dealings.

It sounds like you're more mad then concerned with his negligence.

Not at all. Not sure why you felt like throwing your $0.02 in.

Because you're putting him at fault for something people basically never do. I don't know of anyone who checks the history of over 300 keys when they buy them. Even if he did, there are a lot of factors that could result in him not appearing in the history such as a private backpack, steam API being down, or other errors. The profile looked legit, and it can be assumed given the clean reputation at the time that the keys were legitimate. There was nothing to be suspicious of.

And no; stop making excuses for the guy. He would have realized that they were last seen in my backpack X amount of minutes ago. If he is not this guy's alt, he probably greedily picked up the keys at some firesale rate (such as $1.20/key) which would raise HUGE alarm bells in anybody's books. The fact that he can't remember what he paid for the keys and how many keys he bought (when he did indeed buy 150) is highly suspect.

Can you seriously stop commenting as if you're one of the ones investigating? You're fluttering this thread with your nonsensical childish ravings and trying to destroy the merit of this thread. I've established likely connections, please let the admins decide on whether or not they are indeed alts, worked together to scam me, or whatever the outcome might be. You $0.02 is completely unnecessary.

I am not raving, and I'm not trying to destroy anything. You're the one acting childish if you go around accusing people of things like that.
