    Why are some tf2 servers offline i dont get it ? :confused:

    We're currently under a ddos attack by somebody or group of people. Not much we can do at this moment.

    It's kind of sad really. People spending their time ddosing shit because they think its funny/dislike the place.

    There are several ways. I have no idea of how the finances on this community are but if it keeps happening I would consider spending a bit of money to prevent it from happening.
    Most of them do cost a bit.

    i guess its has stopped now cuz i just connected on jb and vac isnt on and hats plugin thing isnt working too

    You do realize that:
    a) actual good DDoS protection costs several hundreds/thousands a month, money I am neither able nor willing to spend.
    b) most protections only secure websites, but not direct IP access (as this still has to be routed through our host's network).

    The only other thing would be moving to a different host, but considering that would cost us almost double each month and I am already making a loss each month, we will have to deal with that.
