Hello, as the Title says, we are currently looking for experienced People who could help us keeping the Server clean. All Requirements and a Guidline are posted in this Thread: > CLICK HERE < Please DO NOT reply to this Thread with your "I want to be Admin" unless you have some serious Questions! Violating this Rule will result in a 6 Month ban! Greetings
I might make an admin app, and yes spawnkillers everywhere question time >;3 mic spamming? is it allowed to be playing music with decent quality over the mic? or is it up to the admin that is present at that time? (define swearing) is it all words that might be taken offensive? or are words like: damn, shit and noob allowed? the minium activity ratio of 60% what does that mean in hours a day? and what are the steps if an player is reporting an admin for admin abuse? define admin abuse thank you for your time yours truly, Cheatnow
1.) Mic Spamming is not allowed, unless I permit it 2.) Swearing is excessive usage of Words like "fuck", "shit", "noob", etc, the currently online Admin decides it. 3.) On your HLStatsX Page there is a Bar showing your Activity, if it falls under 60%, you are considered inactive. 4.) They have to register in the Forums and make a new Topic in the Reports Section>Admin Reports 5.) Admin Abuse is when some Admin uses commands like slay, kick or similar for his or only for few People's advantage
There's a radio plugin if I'm correct (epic.Radio, although most dj's are online in evenings). Yes, I know you can mute the people yourself, but it's kind of annoying. The minimum ratio is 60% of your time you spend playing TF2 if i'm correct (check HLstatsX, i think n0:name judges by that). Admin abuse is using your powers to get an unfair advantage over other players that are not violating the rules, e.g. giving yourself god mode while playing normally. It also depends on the server. Orange is a more serious style of gameplay, while Mario_Kart or Trade servers are a bit more like fun (hoovy boxing, etc). If a player reports an admin, he/she (admin) has to explain the actions taken/commands used to the others. For people reporting admins, i recommend using demo files, however, in case of cheating/hacking, it's good to have some proof as admin too (like me banning puni's alt on the old FoG ) And I didnt take actions to swearing words like shit, damn and noob myself, unless used excessively to insult other players. Motherf**ker, suck my d**k, etc are things to take action to. Hope it can help you, Bunnie EDIT: Damn, you were faster no:name
Apologies in advance if this is the wrong thread to ask these questions, but it seems to me that I'm in the right place. There is an application template "Real name:". Is it absolutely necessary? This seems like potential sensitive information. I have once very explicitly insulted a hacker on your server. (Spotted through spectator mode, aimbot). Will this count as harassment and automatically get the application declined? Do you consider trolling to be flaming?
It's perfectly fine to ask a question here, we're here to help. Real name is necessary, even if nobody will specifically note it or call you by it. It won't count as harrassment since it's only one player, if you were to constantly bully a player, then it would be cast as harrassment. Trolling is pretty much the same as flaming, nobody likes a flamer, nobody likes a troll.
This thread is over 2 months old, you shouldn't be necroposting like that... Although I don't find the "Real name:" thing really necessary and some people might rather keep that information secret.
