Resolved Tranquilla banning me for using the deadringer.

Description:Now first of all i've been offline for 5 days becuse i had a swedishtest,Tranquilla banned me using the deadringer on a freeday while he was using the deadringer at the SAME time as i got banned. just becuse you got the power to ban me does not mean that you got the right to ban me while you are using the deadringer. at the same time i got banned from guards, Starfish joined and yoni and some others said that i got banned to starfish. i was very pissed that i got banned for no reason. and like i remember tranquilla said that I am allowed to use the deadringer for like 6 rounds ago. and tranquilla has been breaking the rules countless of times as an admin.

As I said I was working to a swedishtest so I had no time to play on jb.

 

Wait, other people claimed that I was the one who banned you?

Also, how long was the teamban?
Deadringer is not allowed, so the ban was in place.

No starfish it was spartan not you who banned me, you just joined when i got banned and spartan left.it was 120 min i think and he was using the deadringer at the same time as i got banned.

 

Could you provide a structured breakdown of what happened? What you copy-pasted from your previous post was rather difficult to understand. Just begin with what happened on the server, why you got banned, and state some witnesses instead of people that told Starfish that you were banned (as i understand it)

I say that you can use deadringer on WARDAYS, never FREEDAYS.

I have spammed the rules many times and warned people never to use deadringer unless it is a WARDAY.

The reasoning behind this; you cannot bait on a warday, you are at all out war.

So telling them I said you can use dead ringer on a freeday is wrong. I never used the deadringer on any freeday, I do not cloak unless it is a warday, so, do you have any witness or screenshots that I used it on a freeday? Because I certainly never use it on one.

But seriously, a warday is a warday which means no baiting since you're all out war.

 

He used deadringer on a freeday, I was talking about the only time you could as that is the place for most error.

 

Wasn't on, and I only do teambans for minor offenses.

Anyway, if you want to retract the report, I don't know how that goes.

EDIT:

If toxic was offline during the time period of March 5th - March 9th (which complies with the time of 5 days of the Swedish test), the ban was given around 19:35 on March 5th. This is the time at which Toxic complained about being banned.

Smiley, Tranquilla and Sky were online during this time, as visible in the chatlogs of that date at that time. Someone also asked for Starfish, so I guess he was on the mic at that time, but I cannot be sure about that. Anyway, that's four admins on at that time, so they all should pretty much know what has been going on.

So:

• The date is March 5th, 19:35 Server time
• You got banned for using the Deadringer
• You thought you were allowed using it, because you thought you saw an admin with it

This good so far?

 

Well, it is, but Toxic already admitted his mistake and apologized for it.
It kinda makes you look like a douche when you rub it in like this.

replace "Transomething" with "Admin who banned me"

 

It's not about the ban, it's about the admin that allegedly also broke the rules at the same time as banning Toxic for breaking this rule. Considering we just had quite the big deal about admins being irresponsible with their powers, I think it's pretty just to further look at this issue.

@n0name @Downy We cleared it up over steam, I explained the rule to him etc, he also previously posted "Sorry guys i understood wrong, it was my fault that i did not understand the rule, i thought that i could use the deadringer on freedays and wardays"

We now know it was me, the date was the thing that was a bit off, however, he now understands the ban and how to not get banned again.
