I figured I might want to start a thread on this, instead of constantly spamming the shoutbox, if I were actually going to do this.

Since people suggested I'd make a Downcorp map after saying I'd fool around in Hammer, I guess I might actually go do this. Is anyone interested in anything specific when it comes to Downcorp? Specific rooms you want to have, specific things that make downcorp what it is, or any other suggestions?

Current ideas

Downcorp as a Google-esque office building, with things like a swimming pool, a slide.

References to all the regulars

Unusual room
Taco room
A room filled with bronies and poop, and Tom or something (although these are very similar)
Downy HQ
Statue of link and / or the triforce
Loli room with gifs (god have my soul on this one)

If it's gonna be a trade map, an unusual room might be a good idea.

 

Main room as the effects room? Like the owners room.

Since I'm an ex admin I think it would be nice to put some names, excellent individuals and such.
There are some obvious ones, I would like to see our DownCorp officials and people represented as an individual who made FoG (and DownCorp) what it is today, while not really DownCorp related we should honor some people for their support.
I know this sounds sellfish but I'd like my own room but I have no right to choose. If you are including me do put this somewhere:
Respect my authority! Darn kids
Then put a disciplinary action and a grave in front of it. And for added stupidity put all your cewl maymays,uhhhhhh
I would also love to see a party room (smoking weed evr1day)and a Playpen with a small pool deep as hell .
That'd be it, please consider one of these ideas if you would be so nice.

The new SDK tools will be out with source 2 I think, I haven't really looked at the soft release of SDK for Dota myself.

Also, nice job on these maps. I'm going to actually learn using hammer first before tinkering though
