An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include: Unusual effects: Attachment point and offset for particle effects on unusual hats can now be adjusted from the character loadout screen Fixed a bug that would cause unusual effects to float in the air over dead players Fixed a bug that would cause unusual effects to show incorrectly sometimes when spectating other players Network interpolation and update convars can no longer be changed when playing. Any reason why my ping has gone up by 60-80(totalling at around 150-180) on F-O-G servers since this update? Feels weird being kicked for high ping especially when your used to 80-90. This happens only on F-O-G servers, which is the reason of my curiosity.
You sure it didnt happen just like an hour ago? It happened to everyone, guess there's fixing or something...
Seems like some of the backbones in our Hoster's Data centre died, so they had to change the route. Should be good now.
I still have 180 in mariokart and ff2 so, I guess there still is a problem, I asked Owl too for his ping, he said he has a ping around 180 too so I suppose there should be more to that?
