Declined Suggestion: A new server?

Hello, It is me... Again!

As you have noticed I have been suggesting a few things recently, and this is now the tip of the iceberg.

I want to suggest that we as a community have a big vote and try to persuade the might n0:name to give us a new server.

This gamemode I want has one map that I know of and is a great place to have fun. It has faced paced or slow paced games. There is no medic spam, only sniper spam. Heavies are useless, spys are deadly. Demoknights reign supreme and unchallenged by all but the snipers.

If you have not guessed. I want us to get cp_degrootkeep.
This is because it is one of the only maps with melee only and it always has players playing on it. I have not seen many servers with few people on degrootkeep and so it is in this that I want to suggest it.

For those who do not know of it, it looks a bit like this:


This map is a melee only map, however it is medieval and so the crossbow works and the bow works.
On this map the idea is for the attacking team to attack and claim the two outer control points, this will make the gate of the keep open and then the blues have to take it before the gates closes. This means that there is an element of teamwork and having to charge it as soon as possible and take on the defenders and keep them occupied whilst the rest of the team is capping, if this does not happen the defenders will finally close the gates and the attackers are set back having to capture the gatehouse to open the gates again.

This map has a really fun element and is a game mode everyone can play as it makes it all about your skill in melee and not if there is a medic ubercharging a heavy or not.

So what is your feelings, do you want this as a new server, or do you not want a new server running degrootkeep?

If we get enough votes maybe n0name will consider, if we don't we wont even have a chance at getting it!

I hope valve makes a new medieval map...... atleast we got hats?

Would be nice to have a new server,it seems acceptable enough.I want a derpy server with multiple plugins where we have multiple gamemodes at once ;c

I'm against it, Degroot is fun to play for a little while, but it gets boring after a while due to the fact you can only use a limited amount of weapons.

This is an epic gamemode which i used to play before.
Its really fun running around with just melee and dashing towards enemy's using demo-knight.

So yeah why not +1
ofc we need @n0name to approve and see if its even possible for a new server according to dedicated servers, hosts etc.
