Why do you think you should be unbanned?

I've been lately busy with high school so I haven't been on steam for a few days. I logged on today and looked on the steamrep of someone trying to impersonate me, and I saw he was trade banned. After doing a little bit of digging I was reading into the post of "advicebanana" I saw the admin accused me of scamming.

This is completely ridiculous, as the moderator who banned me (Tio José das Vacas) has absolutely no evidence and is banning me on a complete wild guess on his behalf. I've been a member of steam for over 4 years, a clean account and 180+ games. I have had no intentions of scamming. Why am I being punished because of someone else's stupidity. The only slight bit of evidence that our accounts were at all interconnected was that I logged online after the scammer had blocked him. This was a complete coincidence and offers no evidence that is actionable on.

The only reason I had stopped buying/selling keys and earning a SOLID PROFIT was because of the scammers. I lost upwards of $200 from one scammer, and had practically nothing left. I stopped trading from then, and even provided screenshot evidence of the scammer in someone's report of the scammer who he'd scammed too.

Advicebanana stated in his post and I quote "I was added by the real Wako a few minutes later who confirmed to me that the impersonator was not him." I offered Advicebanana my apologies and helped bury the scammer into the ground after I found out what had been going on.

If I was going to scam someone, why wouldn't I impersonate someone else instead of myself? It would be just as easy to do. Why should my reputation that I've worked so hard over the past years to keep positive be thrown down the drain by some scumbag.

This whole ordeal is completely and utterly ridiculous. I've traded hundreds of dollars worth of keys and money via Paypal without a single hitch. No charge backs, no reports. Surely if I was going to scam, it would of been then. Secondly, the moderator that banned me was completely out of line. He had NO SIGNIFICANT evidence that the two accounts where linked in any way, shape or form. The impersonator should of been banned,a and myself left alone as I've had nothing to do with any of this. I'm just an innocent bystander that got caught in the crossfire.

I hope we can get all of this resolved.

Thanks a lot your professionalism with tagging another member of staff to this case. Could you please elaborate on what you mean when you said "we were able to connect your account with this one". I don't really have any idea of how you could've jumped to this conclusion.

My cash rep thread has also been locked. If I am proven innocent is there any chance you could un-freeze the thread, as hours of trading has gone into that.
