Some Informations regarding the Halloween Update

    Hello,

    as some of you may know, the Halloween update should get released this week (approx 27th or 28th October).
    Due to this, Valve also changes many server binaries, which will most likely (per 99%) break SourceMod again.

    Original E-Mail from Fletcher Dunn (Valve employee):
    Just as bad as it is, I am going to Serbia on Friday again, therefore I am not able to update SourceMod (if there is a working dev-version available).
    As an result, I'll disable SourceMod before I leave (which is on Friday), so at least the servers will be online & working (auto-update is enabled).

    This is just a quick information for you, so don't wonder if the SM commands/admin are not working after the update!

    ^ This is a good idea. So we atleast have the servers working good.

    yes just like the MvM update broke many things this will probally break things to,
    thanks for the update.

    Shoot. I have dozens of plug-ins on my server. I'll have to look into which ones use those.

    Well, as Valve doesn't seem to release the Update this week, I won't disable SM for now.
    The Update should be released next Monday or so (29th)

    You said the update was going to be on monday. I thought you were leaving for serbia today. That's why I said that.
