Why do you think you should be unbanned?

I won't make make any more racist jokes, or any kind of offensive behavior, whether i am or am not unbanned. I'm new to this server and i dont know the rules yet, but i will rethink my place, my behavior was wild and innaporoperiate for any place whether a game server or in the real world. I deeply apologize and hope you would give me one more chance. i will change, watch my language, and my behavior. I wish to apologize to anyone who heard me say it, and to the admin of the server.​

I've only recently become mutuals with Potato through another person and from what I've seen during our short conversations, he is a genuinely nice person with good ethics, which is why his behavior surprised me. Our community server rules strictly enforce the absence of racism/nazism, but personally I do believe that people make mistakes and deserve some chances (under certain circumstances of course). Being relatively new to the server, Potato must not have realized how hard we are on that matter, however that is no excuse to his behavior. Nevertheless, I believe a firm warning and a small reduction to his ban would be appropriate simply as a one time deal–which is more than just a kind gesture on my part–under the condition that he completely changes his behavior and stops any and all inappropriate jokes similar. Being the one who filed the ban after discussing the matter with a few others (with Chickpoint being the final voice), I would say 2 weeks at minimum would suit his ban length, but if another person has an opinion on the matter that differs from my own, I'd be more than happy to read.
