Resetting the Stats..

Can we give ach/idle its own ranking seperate from trade? People seems to care about rank on Trade and not about people using +attack for 3 months straight.

 

well resetting stats would fix the bugs the ff2 server has wit hthe ranks and stuff,
but then all my hard hours on the vsh shall go undocumented Q_Q

 

I agree with Golden there, we don't want any of the achievement fagets clogging up the top 10 just because their map has a really easy way of killing idlers.

 

+1 i want to get pos 1-10 in ff2 and mariokart if possible and i think the competitive edge with some players would be fun and our stats have been like this for ages so why not.

 

I have no Problems with resetting the stats (as i'm not that high in the ranking system). And if someone has a rather high rank but doesn't play anymore he won't have issues with that. +1 :3

Is there a way to reset ranks without resetting play time?

Otherwise we should make a pre-reset thread to store any play times

My rant thingy is mostly aimed at FF2/Vsh so it wont apply to the other servers.

Personally i dislike ranks, it encourages friends to 'pointwhore' so they can look like they're good at the game, shamefully remembering back to when i used play for points it was daunting to see me do awesome as a spy but have some guy who promised touch his friend up if he let him get a few backstabs get to wave the 'lel iem better' remark.

(Entitlement is one of my key traits ever since i got that UGC badge.)

Again on topic; The whole point thing adds major competitive play between players, such as medics healing people who will give more points rather than be helpful to the teams survival. Now you could call me cynical (and please do its my only form of identity) but removing the points will lead to either a mass horde of spies/'spunts' as they've been referred to, or loads of people trying to get #1 .
While this is most likely the main point of a competitive game i'd prefer leave FF2 in the dark point wise unless someone wants write a massive paragraph involving 'Ur stoopid' at some point to counter everything i'm saying. And then swipe all over servers points.

And i'm not saying that only to have a person to no longer be able post his stats every week. As much as it influenced my decision.

 

Now that's the way to influence others... i like it
