Replacing VSH with Dustbowl/other instead

I would like to see a Minecraft map server, those maps are just awesome in my opinion.

 

Prophunt or Deathrun. Prophunt being the better of the two.

 

Fucking fuck I just typed this but the website went offline so now I have to type it again.
We should put aside what we want as the moment and focus on what the players want instead, since we're kinda desperate for money. So I'm voting for Dustbowl/Goldrush/Badwater. If we focus on keeping FoG alive for a while untill we're all set for a while, the main priority should be what the avrerage player wants.

 

Agreed with waffle, But also Deathrun and prophunt (mostly the latter) Gets much more players to stay, while Normal maps are decent and i somewhat assume are cheaper, theres already tons of servers already using said maps and we may not get enough players.
Looking at our server list (right now i mean i'm too lazy always keep a eye on it) Randomizer is full of people everytime i see it, same with mario kart, although orange x3 currently doesn't (i assume due to it being new but still)
While goldrush is also usually filled along with 2fort from what i can see, while dustbowl isn't (maybe due to the same problem as orange x3)

While i'm not too good at finding stuff out, nor planning ahead, Prophunt or a normal well-liked map seems to be the way to go.
(That or make a Super zombie fortress server which only runs the binding of issac map, or freak fortress 2 since thats a much more popular version of Vsh)

I'm for something pretty simple like a payload/payloadrace rotation with upward(!!!), hightower, goldrush, etc because as some of you stated payload is pretty popular but only goldrush gets quite boring. Since i'm not a fan of big mods on "standart-maps" I may recommend something like no-random-crit or goomba stomb or something. nothing to fancy

 

How about a fun server filled with loads of community maps/mods? I know that if you join the server and it's playing a specific map with specific mods (EG. Warioware) It'll download the files for you, meaning we have a lot of freedom with our map choices.

 

agree with werewolf (except for the mods, i just don't like mods ). another suggestion from me would be a koth_harvest server.
