    Hi,

I am posting here to avoid future issues / to get some some clarification.

I've been trading for 5+ years and in that time done countless safe PayPal interactions. I had used SourceOp to compile my rep, many including expensive items and 1 case being a PayPal purchase of a Burning Team Captain from my end without any complications.

Recently Butaine had deleted all my reputation just to prove a point that he can do what ever he wants.

Now my question is if I was to point people an archive website with my reputation will that be an issue? I'll like to show people proof that I have purchased a Burning Team Captain and my other expensive items over a long history of time with no issues.

I don't think it should be an issue but I feel if it was presented in some report and was to be looked at then it could be some sort of judgement call / ruling and I'll rather know before I do.

    Thanks,

    BM

As most trade admins are asleep right now, wait until the afternoon or such then you should have an answer.

You can contact trade admins by finding them on steam if you feel like it. Theyr name is also purple here on the forums if you dont know which are trade mods.

Relevant SR discussion thread about his issue, though it's presented differently.

The OP appears to be still disgruntled with SR and YATO's deleting of his rep threads on SOP. Though SOP can do whatever they want, and that was made clear many times, the OP still seems to not be able to accept it.

Again to you, SOP can delete and ban whomever they choose from their site. I doubt they'd have to give a reason, though I highly doubt yours is for a reason like you have in your mind.

All things considered, pointing people to an archived cache may not be a bad idea, though I would expect those clients to ask "why was your reputation deleted in the first place?" Also, current factors would always have to be taken into consideration (eg. full/caution tags, pending reports, past reports, historical tags).

Hey Cobalt, this really isn't a discussion about what SOP can and can't do. My rep is deleted so obviously they can delete.

I am not asking for a reason as to why they deleted my account, I still don't know why my account there was deleted but I understand that it's their site they can delete who they want.

what I am asking is if I can point users to an archive of the reputation that I have built there, the feedback that has been left there for a period of 5 years shows my potential buyers / people I am buying off that I am safe to deal with and I will like to show users the proof of the many clean transactions. To put is simply my question is, If I was to point people to a caching page which shows a long history of my safe transactions will that be an issue?

Added into my previous post in an edit. Copying it here.

You'd still need to explain away the recent factors as opposed to the historical rep.

I don't think pointing users to an archived rep thread is a good idea, You may however make a new rep thread here or on other community and put in the notes that archived rep and explain what happened to that rep. Note that I'm fine with you having that archived rep in your notes here, but you should probably check the rules of other communities if you intent to do the rep thread their.
If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask them, thanks!
