Problems casting spells

Hi all,

I have a problem this halloween which is pretty annoying. I can cast spells but it doesn't work correctly.
After i cast a spell I cant cast spells for a few minutes (irregularly). I have tried removing binds, reassign the buttons, verified my tf2. Anyone got more ideas or knows a thread to this problem? So far I couldn't find anything on google.

unbindall the rebind them all using "use defaults" button, that's what I did

 

Reseting the binds won't help unless u got binds on the H key.
Validating the cache only fixes problems related to the "files" itself, it won't fix in-game related stuff.
Therefore I would like you to try the following:

If you haven't change your directories, the default should be like this:

C:/Program Files(x86)/steam
Once inside the steam folder I want you to remove the file called "clientregistry.blob" (a white blank paper as a icon)

This will remove all the steam settings including the game settings also.
After removing the file, steam will update itself again and the problem should be fixed.

Please note that this will remove the game settings which will reset them to defaults, meaning that in Tf2 u will have to change your resolution and options again from the 1280 x 800 default one.
It will also remove all your binds.

This will help your cause cuz it will add fresh default(unchanged) settings to steam.

You WONT lose your account or anything related to it.

This step should be performed when steam is not running ofc.

Ugh, time to write down my binds then... At least it is worth trying.

 

or you could rename it to clientregistry.bak

 

Well didn't change a thing and I still got my settings. Even used unbindall and then reassign the default keys. Contacting steamsupport now -.-

 

Weird it means that ur TF2 settings are backed up else where.
Steam support should be able to help you, hopefully.

Couldn't be the thing, disabled it.

 

Nah steam cloud only keeps account information like achievements, games in libraft etc...
Lets wait for steam support to respond which can take a while (ikr)
