Invalid ping

Hi i recently noticed that only i have 660 ping on the server and its only on yours and i realy would like to know what happened.

 

Really depends on where your located.
My Average ping is around 80 and goes lower, because i live in Denmark.

The servers are hosted in hamburg as far as i know.

There's nothing wrong with our servers.

 

This is just your internet being shit. I normally have 40-50 ping and i live in denmark aswell. Try running a speedcheck and select a server in hamburg instead of the regular one you would choose.

 

Check the household and see if anyone's downloading several TBs of "research" stuff

 

One of our admins even live in the U.S and he's got a decent
Latency, so it has to have been your own latency to our server.

i get pind of about 150 because we have a fibre optic in australia so thats why i get high ping but i always get kicked.

 

You get kicked because your ping/latency is too damn high.
But, there's really nothing we can do tbh.

 

He could get lifetime donator, this would provide autokick immunity.

 

Then he probably lost connection.

That's... Amazing. Most Aussies I have played with were always blaming the server for their constant 450 ping...

2. What bandwidth does your Connections have?
3 .What Net-settings do You use?
4. What rate ?
cl_cmdrate ?
cl_updaterate ?
Just type them into the console to see on what values they are set.

Speedtest is ok but it gives you only your network speed atm for example 45 mb/s 20 upl/s ping average 54

Try running this Pingtest.net - The Global Broadband Quality Test also.

type net_graph 1 into console to get the display of your ping and such. If you notice something called "lerp" which is displayed yellow. That indicates that there is a problem for you there. Type "cl_interp_ratio 5" into console (or a higher number until it's no longer yellow).

This could only be a possible fix since 70% of players connection issues are different.
Try contacting your ISP.
