It seems like a lot of reports for people trading with scammers in csgo are coming out to be false due to csgo.exchange not recording some trades. I feel like the reports should require more evidence like items exchanged,+rep left on profiles or more then just one item being linked.

+rep on Steam profiles is irrelevant, but I sense you may be pointing towards something else. Just thought I'd point it out anyway.

I'd rather have the owners of these lottery websites use some kind of SR filter, or at least update the items their bots contain during the lottery. Having those bots in the item history would significantly reduce the amount of reports.

I think a good starting point would be more than 1 item traded, but then again the giants of these lotteries (Phantoml0rd, mOE) enter those lotteries on a daily basis. They quickly accumulate a giant list of knives that are actually won / lost because of lotteries instead of trading with markeds.

Ill further explain the +rep. If trader a reps trader b then we can confirm that trader a has traded with trader b(along with the item history proof). This would help in situations if trader b was a scammer.

An issue I also have noticed is that Opskins does not use the steamrep api.

Yes, but you need to realize that this is open for fraud. Let's say Scammer A intentionally joins a gambling room with Victim B. A loses the items, and out of anger they decide to frame B by posting a (seemingly harmless) comment on the profile of B.

It's better to rule out the innocents instantly than to come to conclusions quickly.

Exactly the problem I am having. Then again, owners of gambling sites could very well be marked scammers themselves.

I was not saying that its a instant mark. But it provides more proof for it be considered to investigate.
