Hello people, I am looking for a laptop for College, CS:GO and YouTube. I want to hear from the pro PC gaming community. What you would suggest for me with a budget of £400. Primarily going to be used for College/Movies/YouTube. Just to clarify, gaming would be an added bonus Currency Conversions: 570.85 Euro 607.61 US Dollar 39287.20 Russian Ruble 2279.12 Saudi Riyal 4757.84 Egyptian Pound 74607.66 Japanese Yen 72299.64 Jamaican Dollar 2362.92 Israeli New Sheqel
Got mine for 700€ = 490.66326 GBP and I cant play CSGO with more than 40 frames. IMO you should stay away from gaming laptops.
Hello my friend, for £500 these days you could get a laptop that could run CSGO easily. I had a gaming laptop which cost me £700 and it was better than some of the best gaming PCs.
Lenovo W530 was the model i had. A real badass laptop. Not sure if they made a newer model though. I think i read about a W540 model somewhere.
It was coffee though a bit more thick and sticky. And that was actually the fifth time that i've spilled something on it. The problem i think, was that i was streaming while it happened, so i wasn't smart enough to turn the laptop off.. Stupid move
5th time. How does one spill stuff so much? Also I already own an iPad but does not do the job well enough. Currently My TOP pick for a laptop
When I'm pwning newbs, i can get really excited and tend to swing my arms around to signal stuff like, 'fuck yeah' & 'who's your daddy', and when i lose, i just smash everything i can reach while i make angry sounds. What a deal!
400 pounds is not enough for a laptop that you want to play games on on higher graphical settings or a laptop that you want to last for more than 2 years. i'd suggest saving up another 200-ish pounds. when looking for a gaming laptop, you would want something with at least a quad core (don't even bother with dual cores on laptops) and a graphics chip better than a 950m or 860m. don't bother with 7xx series or AMD, you'll get either bad performance or you'll boil your legs. i had an AMD laptop and the heat they give off can actually give you weird circles on your legs which isn't good. for around €900 you can get some pretty decent laptops here in the netherlands (although it's always WAY better to get a desktop if you have spare components lying around (monitor, mouse, keyboard and sound), you pay for those when you buy a laptop aswell), but if you want something good that you want to last 400 isn't going to quite cut it.
As I said this laptop would be used for College work/ Youtube/anime etc. The gaming part would just be an added bonus, I already have a good PC to run games off of
