Left 4 Dead 2 World Cup 2016!

Aye guys,

many of you might not know but Left 4 Dead 2 still has a striving competitive scene with ~2000 active players worldwide.
The cup coming this year is probably the last big thing that's going to happen, and everyone is allowed to participate.
So if you feel like joining to see the big guys play and be part of a game's history.. Signups went live 2 days ago and will stay open until April 16th.

Price pool is 2000+$.

Note: You should at least know how to play the game, otherwise it won't be fun

Why is it that whenever I launch L4D2 and search for a match I can never find players? (in both EU and AU)
I really loved that game but found playing with bots dull and boring.

 

Hm, I can't say anything about campaign but even public versus gaming is alive and well. At all times there are at least 5-6 open lobbies and games are being played. I don't know why you can't find games, maybe you set your max search ping too low?

If you want to go for something more competitive you can join Hot Mess Mix, one of the many community hubs where people post announements when they start games, so others can join them via groupchat.
Since it's 4v4 with random teams you might get flamed if you don't live up to your team's expectations though.

 

We have a community for a reason yo, ask around and ye shall find.
