Resolved Jaffa.

Hello people. i am here to report the admin Jaffa, though this might not be so severe, but i thought you should take a look.

I were visiting Jailbreak unannounced just to say hi, when i wrote, "KILL JAFFA" in chat. Followed by this:
[VIP] [FoG] Darkregen : BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD.
[SourceComms] ADMIN: Issued an extended gag on [FoG] Darkregen for 10 minutes (reason: No).


As i said, this might not be as severe but it is still a "miss-use" of the command /gag as i did not do anything to insulting him or irretate him in any way, i do not think that this is "ban worthy" but still enough for a warning

Because of my computer not willing to co-operate i were unable to take a picture of this, though a regular player under the name of "Swuft" were there too.





One thing that i did forget to mention, when i wrote to Jaffa that the gag wasnt justified (bullshit gag) he removed me from his friendslist and made me unable to even talk to him about the gag.

 

I think he was bothered by the vulgarity of your words, and it's only ten minutes, c'mon.

 

Still. A gag is a gag. Couldn't he have asked dark to stop it?

 

Though it is ten minutes, i still dont see the gag as justified since i did not insulting in any way.

And since i did not recive any warning about it, i feel as Jaffa simply dont like me.

 

Also, I don't think warning players is necessary.

 

So you see it justified to (example), ban someone for spawncamping when they dont even know that what they are doing is wrong in any way? Some bans/gags/mutes are also based on the admins mood and relationship to the person.

 

I generally warn people, but it isn't necessary.

 

Yeah you are simply not liked because of what you do, you're habits basically, what you say and do may affect admins judgement apon you, you know, shit posting, general nuisance, although I can't see a reason why Jaffa gagged you, best wait for him to respond.

 

Good luck on that. He barely visits the forums.

Only 24 posts? how in the hell did this guy get admin, isn't there a rule stating you should visit the forums regularly?

 

He also hasn't made a single ban in 2 months time.

 

You don't necessarily have to make posts on the forums,as long as you regularly check them posting should be optional.
Also "fucking" isn't that bad a word and mild swearing is allowed.

On a serious note: This is pretty much Abuse.
He gagged you for pretty much the dumbest reason.
He never even visits the damn forum, so he has no idea what's going on
or even read This.

 

I guess I have to agree with you, and didn't we have an activity "czech" recently? Did he reply? Does he ever use the forums and want to be part of a community, or does he just want admin powers? Also, if he removed you from his friends-list, is it safe to assume that he knows he did something wrong? Because the last few times an administrator did something wrong, they removed a, some, most, or even all FoG members from their friends-list. He probably doesn't even know this thread exists.

Also, guess who visited the forums in the last 24 hours? Not Jaffa.



His last visit was yesterday, but probably to keep his activity up. I completely forgot he was even an admin until this post.

 

Update: I visisted Jailbreak once again, and i got freekilled multiple times by the same guy over and over again, Jaffa were there and he could obviously see it. He didnt respond to me nor did he teamban the guy who freekilled me.

 

Another update: Jaffa gagged me again, after i said this: [VIP] [FoG] Darkregen : Great admin, not doing shit about freekillers.



This also happened, when Jaffa forced a person to be warden without the person even having a mic.
[TF2Jail] bonky boy is the new Warden.
[TF2Jail]ADMIN: Forced bonky boy to be Warden.
Player StealTh VSaT left the game (Disconnect by user.)
[TF2Jail]ADMIN:
bonky boy banned from Guards for 100 minutes spent alive.

Because of this, i honestly think that Jaffa is just out for admin powers and suggest that he should be stripped from his powers, if you see this nessesary though i suggest it.

 

I don't really think he should be an administrator anymore since he doesn't do anything, and tends to abuse his powers, he seems to fake people out, just to banish them, such as the "no mic" example you gave us.
