    Was this intentional or? And is it gonna be "fixed"?

    No, this was indeed to not intentional, instead more of a left over from the old version of the Timer.
    I have now fixed the plugin, so hide works as a spec as well. To avoid weird side effects, you will still be able to see the person you are currently spectating (in 3rd person mode).

    Deployed on all servers.
