Declined Hat Manager Colours

    Recently I've been on Trade and been messing around in Hat Manager. I saw a button called "Change Hat Color". So I decided to open the menu only to find no choices. Was this intended? If it wasn't then I think this would be a nice little suggestion that would be fun for donators.

    I agree. Would be awesome for donators if they could paint the selected hat without buying the actual paint.
    And if you not are going to implement this, you could at least remove that option from the hat manager's menu.

    I know the option has been there. I know I could also crash servers with it. Idk if it's going to return.

    I don't see any reason for this not to be implemented, apart from the fact that the enemy team could be confused about the VIP's colour and could not recognize his team. But that can be solved by making the colour thingy available only when /friendly mode is on.

    Cetru, you're getting it wrong. It's just the color of the hat that changes. Not the skin color.

    Last time I checked, tf2items caused the server to crash with certain effect/colour combinations.
    As I am not that active during weekdays anymore, I don't want to risk that the server(s) are crashing every 5 minutes.
