    • What was your name when you got banned?: ???Dyzin
    • When did it happen?: 09.10.2012 00:34
    • What's the specified reason? (http://bans.fanatix-network.com): KAC: ConVar sv_cheats violation
    • Why do you think you should be unbanned?: When I was in-game I was messing around with some commands in my console to make my game run a bit faster. I kept switching back and forth from TF2 to the Webpage and when I typed in one of the commands and I went to look at the webpage I came back to a message of me being Disconnected and being Banned. I'm guessing one of these commands must of tampered with the server. I had no clue that this would happen. I would like to be unbanned because I had no intention of harming your servers. I was only trying to get my game past 30 frames per second.

When trying to make your game faster the only surefire way is to lower your model/texture/shading detail, using commands to do so and getting banned for it means we can't do much, wait for the owner's say on it though.

Well, I see your point about not wanting this to happen.
However, there are several commands in the console which are considered as cheats. You're able to look some of them up on the valve developer site.
Furthermore, I can only agree with Goldie. There is no reason for typing commands into the console if you want to increase your fps or similar.
