Deathrun suggested weapons

    So lord nername asked for a list of disabled weapons. So here you go.

    Remember, They are not yet disabled. Just suggestions.

    On some items the reason why, Others should be obvious.



    Scout:

    • All Scatter Guns hold an attribute giving them -36% speed to balance the class.
      Double Jump disabled

    Primary Weapons:
    • Force a Nature
      Baby Face's Blaster (Can gets you extra speed)


    Secondary Weapons:
    • Bonk Atomic Punch
      Crit-a-Cola
      Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol (Fall damage)
      Flying Guilotine (Item was known to clip walls and set off traps in some instances)

    Melee Weapons:
    • Atomizer



    Soldier:


    Primary Weapons:
    • Rocket Launcer
      Direct Hit
      Black Box
      Rocket Jumper
      Liberty Launcher
      Cow Mangler 5000
      Beggar's Bazooka

    • Detonator (Ability of jumping)
      Scorch Shot (Special flare to prevent trap activation)

    • The Gas Jockey for its speed attribute



    Demoman:


    Primary Weapons:
    • Grenade launcher
      Loch-N-Load
      Loose Cannon


    Secondary Weapons:
    • Chargin' Targe

      Scottish Resistance

    Good list, and I have some additions:

    Soldier: Beggar's Bazooka. I'm quite good Rocket Jumping with it.

    Heavy: Sandvich. Some traps only deal an amount of damage and a sandvich would get that HP back.
    Dahlok's Bar. Gives a HP bonus


    Engineer: Eureka Effect. It lets the engi tele back to spawn (I really don't know why he would do that, but still...)

    Beggar's Bazooka: Don't know why it wasn't in yet. Now it is.
    Heavy eating stuff: There are most likely like 1 trap like that on a map. That's why I didn't list it. But if more people want it disabled, then I'd add it.
    Eureka Effect: Yea, Don't know why they would want to do that. Maybe on the first trap in some maps. But added it anyway.

    If they use it they should be walking on the same speed as a medic. So I wouldn't add it.

    And like Ace said. Makes up for the low standard speed

    Doesnt make them that much faster, they are slow remember without it.

    Actually, I came up with something why a Eureka should be banned. You can teleport out of a trap that takes a while to kill. For example, the first Cage Trap on Horror

    Disciplinary action maybe?
    Also the Crusader's Crossbow if you don't want the Medic to be healing people.

    Since heavy got his gloves we thought that the soldier could get his "Wand"
    And we don't want the medic be able to heal people, No we don't want his ubercharge from his normal medigun.

    Diciplinary action won't do much harm.
    Same for the Crusader's Crossbow. Most traps are locked off from the other runners.

    I'll fucking eat you alive if you disable Sandvich.
    Oh and lot of the items you want to ban are what adds a bit of spice to the game, like GRU and the whippa whip.

    All mentioned Weapons have been disabled/changed, scouts automatically have a slower movement speed.

    Ban the wrap assassin it shot through a wall and hit me.. He can kill us or other way around also sandban in case

    Somehow my weapon restricter Plugin is not working as intended, as you can still use banned Weapons.
    Going to move the restriction stuff into the DR plugin itself (nearing to 1000 lines slowly)

    The Diciplinary Action has to be removed. It gives an unfair advantage when doing a jump trap

    Sandman needs to be restricted with wrap assassin you can shoot through walls with it, if the scout knows how and on one map it is easily done.

    Diciplinary Action is best weapon.
    The advantage it gives is negligible.
