    Hi everyone,

Most of you allready knew I moved to a new home.
I live here now for about a month and I have done some of the work I want to do.
Since it is a lot work I am still not ready with it but now I have made enough photo's so it is worth sharing with you.

So here we go! little note: you can click photo's for the larger version.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
At first the outside of my apartment bulding, sadly mine is not in the picture (left). In the middle we see the entrance of my building and on the right the hallway of my appartment.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

The firts 2 pictures are my kitchen, off course Ï am not going to change anything in it because it is a nice kitchen (only new floor). And on the right my bathroom. I am not sure what I am going to do with it yet but it is good enough for now.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

This is my living room, it is a pretty large one for an aparment so I have enough room for a nice seat. Here is going to change a lot as you can see in later photo's. And the right is my balcony on the back. I have one in the front but it is so little it isn't worth mentioning it.

On the left you see what is going to be my bedroom. Here I will apply also a load of changes in electrics since it it a bit outdated. In the middle we see the little room. This is going to be my gaming room, but this will be changed at the very end since I need a bedroom and it is the smallest room. And on the right you can see some of my stuff moved in temporarily in the bedroom.

Here you see my friends and family helping with removing wallpaper after they helped me move in.

Since every wall is wallpapered there is a lot of work to do. This is day 2 of removing wallpaper.

And here we got 1 wall of the bedroom completely without wallpaper just as I need it to be.

    [IMG] [IMG]

On the left we see a close up of my bedroom wall without wallpaper and on the right the livingroom (the wall with the flower).

And this is the entire wall in the livingroom without wallpaper.

At first here was a door to an extra bedroom (in a very very old situation) but since this bedroom is not longer there i don't need that door. So bye bye door! This door will be replaced by glass bricks for some extra light into my hallway.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

And here comes the real work, the electrics!! On the left picture you can see the livingroom. The very left of it is for my television and receiver for TV and on the right you can see the old telephone line removed out of the wall. Aaaaand... my precious glassfiber NTU (Network Termination Unit) which allready works. :D In the middle we see the center of the living room. The slots in the floor are for the electrics in the livingroom. I going to build that with a skirting duct system. And in the right picture you see the opposite wall in the center of my livingroom. Here will be the switches for the lights.

    [IMG] [IMG]

In the left picture you can see the a overview of my livingroom and if you look close the (sexy) legs of my nephew :p, who helps my out with the electrics. I was an electrician but I don't own all the tools to make this so, special thanks for him. The right picture you can see the NTU from up close and on the right of it the telephone line I moved out of the wall. Under the telephone line there will be 2 network connections.

The livingroom if finished as far I can work on it now. So let's begin with the bedroom. On the left you can see the slots for the wiring of my television and on top slots for network cables for my TV receiver. And on the right the opposite wall. Here I am going to make something special (and especialy lazy). Here will be 2 switches which switch an outlet for a night lamp and 1 normal outlet for charging phone or an alarm or something. And that for both sides. But now there is the lazy part on the side which will be my side of the bed (at the window side) there will be an extra switch for switching the main light of the room so I won't need to get out of my bed when I want the lights on or off. :p

    [IMG] [IMG]

And here are the final pictures I have so far. On the left you see a bunch of network cables (for who are interested in it Cat 6 cables). These run to my NTU and television in the livingroom and some of them go to the television in my bedroom. And the very very last picture you see my hallway how it looked today when I was finnished cutting slots in the floor. The left 2 slots go to my kitchen and won't be used yet. This is for in the future, may I decide to cook on electrics instead of gas. Or I want a new kitchen. But that won't happen in the next 10 years I think. In the middle is also a slot for the future may I decide I want extra network in the livingroom. And the 2 slots on the right are going to be filled with the network cables from the first photo.

So far the photo's I have. I will post updates when I have more photo's and made more progres.
Please don't flame for wrong grammar and just let me know so I can change it. May some pictures refuse to work please let me know that too, since I am hosting them myself.

Yup, I started working as electrician, but because of the crisis here I lost that job so never graduated for it so now I'm doing other work.

    Update

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Today I managed to get some work done. I did some of the plastering this day. Offcourse where you make holes you have to fill it up. This will be the first layer of plaster and in the next week I put the seccond layer on for a nice finnish. Also next weeks plan is to close up the hole at the end of the hallway with glass bricks. More photo´s next week :)

    Update

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Work has to be done, even when it is 30 degrees. I am almost done with the electrics. Everything at the electricity meter now. So only thing that lasts is my bedroom. And then I am finaly ready to fully plaster everything!! :D And after that I hope things will speed up so it is done. Really looking forward to it
