Archived Attempted Paypal Pan Scam

Today user http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197970885635/ (Truzic Δ #BuyingQS ) added me. I Recently bought a Golden pan off of him and now I wanted a refund as I found that the pan was scammed. He originally states yes that he will give me a refund but then quickly changes the conversation from me getting a refund to him buying the pan off me for $2000 in paypal. I ask him a fair enough question; can he buy some keys with the money because I didn't feel comfortable trading with his paypal. He then makes up an excuse stating that 'no one has that much pure sitting around'. This is an obvious scam attempt as any legitimate trader would just buy keys, his profile on steam is also trade banned.

Wanting to pay for an item directly with money rather than purchasing keys for the trade is not evidence that he had intentions to scam you.
