Description

Mareako was being a Soldier and spawncamping the RED spawn. He also taunted them, as shown in the demo. I recorded it from Spectator mode just to show it off.
So, spawncamping and (maybe?) taunting.

PS: Evidence is sadly not accepted in your file hosting, so I had to improvise. Hope that's not bad.

I'm sorry, did not notice that. I use a free-to-use software to quickly upload files onto my Google Drive, apparently it's always set to private.

Can confirm.
I've been a witness to multiple occasions of which he would systematically spawncamp. Should the need of enforcing prohibition of such action come to be, he would slay other spawncampers but when it comes to himself, he wouldn't lift a finger.
I ran a little experiment yesterday while playing as I haven't been able to connect these couple of days, which is irrelevant yet of some use...
He's been an admin for quite some time now, who had signed up for trade_rawr back in late summer of 2016. From that time to present the server's undergone changes, most obviously a map change. He did good on his initial days of approval for this position, when I got banned in September I missed out on what he was up to for three months prior to my ban appeal.
Upon returning I witnessed him and another individual (who I won't be mentioning) spawncamping over and over. Obviously I did not interfere as I really did not want to bother compiling and making an admin report, due to procrastination but that's beside the point.
Bottom line is that my time as a regular I wanted to see if he would undergo a change, since I've had occasions on which I would be absent for a period I cannot determine.
Anyway.. The experiment.
I went and ran out of spawn, greeted by three spawncampers Maestro included, you can imagine how that went. So I ran once more only to see that he's stepped out of the area which you'd regard as a "spawncamp zone" (e.g next to the ends of a main spawn entrance) roughly changing his location to the middle of the map, firing projectiles at the main spawn entrance. He slayed the remaining two, thinking he's in the clear, popping a "Don't spawncamp, videogamers!" to every player's screen..
tl;dr when people spawncamp, he slays them, when he spawncamps, he simply disregards the fact that this rule also applies to him, therefore contradictory to the "Don't spawncamp, videogamers!" message he spams

@HaydenTDV Suprising that you didnt destroy Maestro a similar way you destroyed Rizor and I in Dark Red's report. I am seriously glad you've matured.


On a note, I will speak on Maestro's behalf and then on the report. Maestro is an administrator here, whos been here a long time. Theres no doubting hes earned a place here as an admin.

However, Hayden's comment and the demo do point to a connection. Administrative abuse does cause some issues. If you were just drugging yourself 24/7 like I did, it would be fine, but being a hypocrite is another. You have watched literally 3 admins get suspended for abuse of their powers; shouldnt that probably say, "There is a click. I should stop so I'm not going to get reported."

Definitely would love your opinion on this matter, since I and some others do value your opinion as a long time administrator.

 

Nothing to say, I got unlucky that the user reporting me was actually recording me. Several trade admins have also abused of this kind, but obviously not recorded.
I'm not going to defend myself, the player did his job reporting me. Fully valid admin report, which I approve to. I fucked up, sorry for that.

 

Well, I'm at least glad you give in that you truly did that. Not that you could've defended yourself.

If I notice any other admins doing the same, or similar, I'll definitely report them. I have AutoRecord on so I can catch them.

The next report (on any Trade admin) regarding spawncamping will result in a suspension, so see this as a general warning.
