So, to prevent above stated, I think there should be a button labels Scams or Scam Reports on the top bar. Simple enough suggestion.

    Thanks,

We can't fix stupid, so perhaps we can try to prevent it.

    I lol'd.

Adding a new link wont help at all, if they cannot see the difference then they do not deserve the link.

    SERIOUSLY
    Trading section
    Trading reports.

    Support section.
    NON-TRADING REPORTS.

You cannot fix stupid, You cannot make it more obvious.

I never read the headers on a fourms, most of it is rubbish, having it up there wont help.

Let me edit to make this clearer. In my time in F-o-G I have only clicked 'Bans' and 'Stats'. I did not even know what I would find under 'What's new'.

    Even moar edit:
If they can know that they should make a report in the non-trading report then they can read the word 'REPORT', now if they cannot read 'Non-trading' may god have mercy on their soul.

    Ok I cri even moar:http://files.f-o-g.eu/72de4d

WE HAVE A LINK TO THE SCAM SECTION IN IMPORTANT LINKS ALREADY.

Well apparently, people click the "report player/admin" button on the top of the page, since the scam is made by a player and they are reporting him/her, ifyaknowwhatImean.

The button name could be fixed or a new one could be added with a link to the scam reports.

Am I missing something? What button? The only report button I see is for our admins.
For claiming reports from the bot and closing them.

EDIT: If you aint an admin it shows as report a player/admin on the home page.

However, I would like to remind people we are a community server, mainly there for gaming and not to handle scam reports, we are not dedicated to that it is a small part of us. Therefore having it as our player reports is far more beneficial. If they cannot read the redirected subforum then it is their fault as it clearly says non-trading reports in the opened page.

We aren't going to be a replacement for Steamrep as they use us to handle lots of reports that don't even occur on our servers. I don't agree for this link. We got this to steamrep ban people on our servers. Not the world.

IMO our steamrep admins should handle reports on steamrep not on F-O-G.

Most of the problems, well 99% of them is fact that they don't read the entire thing. Well I kinda understand, they get scammed/ pissed off and want to make a report asap. Anyways, I agree and don't agree with the suggestion.
Why do I agree- to make it simple and prevent false threads
Why not- pretty much as Tranquilla stated and it could lead to even shittier reports since people might just skip the "How to make a report" guide and instantly make one.

How about just putting it like this without starting a shitstorm:

If people seriously want to get report someone they should pay attention/find out where to report instead of just being lazy or stupid. Put it there if you like i just find no reason to it instead of laziness.

Or send the link to a page where you have to "confirm" you've read the guide/rules where they then will be taken to the format.

I don't really see a need for this, people just have to open their eyes for once.
And it worked for the other 1,700 reports we got.
