About the Minecraft Server

    Hello,

    as some of you may already know, we have planned to setup a Minecraft Server on the new US Root.
    Therefore, I've talked to a Friend and picked some Plugins which will be installed on the Server:

    Essentials
    PermissionsEx
    McMMO
    Towny
    LWC
    WorldGuard
    FalseBook
    WorldEdit
    ServerEvents
    NeoScript
    Spigot
    Creative Gates
    Anti X-Ray
    HawkEye
    LavaFurnace
    Mob Bounty
    iConomy
    Vault
    ChestShop
    If you have got any Suggestions on Plugins, simply Post them here!

    Ok ready for a long list of plugins? if i removed some it would be cause they are unreliable or clash with plugins.


    False book is outdated now called craft book.
    craftbook
    nocheat
    Apple tree
    factions
    dead bolt
    hero chat
    Mob arena (might not work if you get outdated ones, or it has an error or two.)
    floauctions
    (maybe this) citizens

    Please remove the Plugins from your List which are already in the List on the first Post!
    Makes it a lot easier.

    Good anti-grief thing, stops people placing tnt or whatever, also alerts you. I totally didn't make it either.

    EDIT: Also, I can make custom, unique plugins too, if you want.

    I have currently installed the following Plugins:

    • Craftbook 3.3.8 (with Circuits, Mechanisms, Vehicles)
    • Essentials 2.9.5 (with Chat + Spawn)
    • PermissionsEx 1.19.4 (with ChatManager)
    • WorldEdit 5.4.5
    • ChestShop 3-46
    • CreativeGates
    • HawkEye
    • iConomy 7 (6 outdated)
    • LWC
    • NoCheatPlus
    I've removed McMMO as it's causing massive IOExceptions on Server Halt.
    The Plugins just need to be configured, then I need some People to test it.

    Also, I won't add any more Plugins (unless they are really wanted-required), as I think that the Server has got enough Plugins now.

    That's a mod, not a plugin. A plugin is server-side, meaning there is no need for the client side to download anything.
    On the other hand, a mod is something that both sides need to install in order to play on the server.
    And seriously n0name, why is it taking so long? It doesn't take that long to set up a Bukkit server, it takes about 3 hours max...
