    The same happened to my brother, he accidentally turned his anti-virus off and clicked a link a friend gave him. The site had a malware on it. But, he got it fixed and now its gone. Just dont turn your anti-virus off.

    There's really never any good reason NOT to have an anti virus.

    Darn, that must suck. I actually know a girl who had a virus on her computer. It made freaking weird sounds whenever she turned it either off or on. scaredtheshitoutofme. ;~;

    Windows comes with a built-in antivirus.
    Also, Chrome will stop you from downloading anything malicious unless you tell it to shut the fuck up.

    Everyone knows thats a piece of shit.
    It's not hard too download AVG (or any other anti-virus software) and just have it in the background, you can never be too safe.

    Or don't click suspicious links.

    I usually ask "What's that" if I get redirected to a link I don't know

    You make it sound easy, everyone slips up at points and it's always best to have a safeguard, ofc you shouldn't rely on it 100% but its nearly always best to have one.

    It's easy to me, then. Stamecomnurity-net.ru doesn't fool me at all. As for other links, they often have some weird stamp set on them aswell. When someone asks me to check out an image and it links to download.php it's obviously no good.

    I recomend you to use Malwarebytes and check your PC.
