Description:
Offered me his Gut Knife for my Unusual Dread Knot, asked me to go first to "avoid" 15-day trade hold. Accused me of scamming after I gave the hat. Removed me from friend and blocked me. A couple of days later added me back and said he will give the unusual back (he said that his brother scammed me) and sent me a trade offer. At the same day at night he cancelled the trade offer and said that his brother cancelled it. No updates so far.

I did investigate this situation and it was possibly partially resolved with the accused admitting to the scam and willing to trade the item back because of what 'his brother' did. At the end of the day, he did in fact cancel the trade offer and ran off.

Could you take screenshots of the following please:
- your Inventory History, showing all trades from the day of the scam (and one trade from the day before) all the way up to now. There should be overlapping trades in the screenshots.
- the original trade agreement with the user if you have it.

All screenshot should be:
- uncropped and not edited at all.
- from the Steam client where applicable.
- showing the URL bar in all instances.

Sadly for the chat log the first chat log that I uploaded yesterday was as far as I could go.

 

So you don't have the original trade agreement? Even on your phone? (ie. the discussion before the one shown in the screenshots, they seem to start about half way through the conversation!)

Unfortunately, yes, I don't. That was as far as I could scroll. Sadly, I couldn't even go that far when I first reported him on outpost.
