    Description:
This guy told me to "test" his TeamSpeak server, and the server prompted me to download the "new" version, when I confronted him he just deleted me, phishers usually use throwaway accounts for bots, but this guy stupidly used his, as it seems, main account which seems valuable.

I hope I didn't violate any rules by reporting this guy, as I know if everyone wanted to report phisher bots, the forums would be filled, but this isn't a bot.

    Thanks :)

Hello @NotATraitor@NotATraitor , thanks for your report.

Unfortunately, this report cannot be accepted. As per SteamRep Investigation Policy, we deny (attempted) phishing reports. Several reasons play a role here, think about being unable to check if the account that tries to phish you is actually phished itself. Read about the updates in the SteamRep investigation policy here: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/notice-changes-to-investigation-policy.47952/

If you still want to take action, report the account via the in-Steam report option.
On the profile of the suspected phisher, click the 'More' button on the top right of the page, then click 'Report this user'.
From here, you can report the user for an attempted phish / hack.
