Whoever he traded with is either Pon, or someone not registered on backpack.tf or Tf2Outpost (or, someone who somehow managed to quicksell something as large as that).

 

Nothing to really show besides the trade histories, I do have all the chat pictures taken as well, but I can not submit any chat proofs until the guy I traded with lets me do that. I'd want for this to stay private, so an add on steam would be far superior for me.

Who coincidentally is the only user on PoN's friend list however that isn't really a valid argument for obvious scammer alt. The rules don't force you to go through every single user on someone's friends list to count their friends and see if they are the only friend of a marked user. That concept is both absurd, corrupt and this argument is clearly one that is to be disregarded as evidence. That aside...

This account isn't exactly an obvious alt, by my standards, which are higher than anyone in the entire community.

#1 : 2013 account, not super old, not super new.
#2 : No bans anywhere on Rep.tf https://rep.tf/76561198094878968
#3 : the guy came from CSGO and there is no way to track histories credibly in CSGO. He sold the KE for tons of knives.
#4 : Yes, he is friends with PoN, but he's also friends with other users, and PoN is the only scammer so from that perspective it may appear like PoN added him to try and scam or the two are just friends, for me it raises no flags.

Additionally, while reading through the chat logs you can see that Rick James does more than his fair share of investigating into the user, his history, whether he's an obvious alt as well as offers his suspicions straight to the users face saying "checking stuff" and "A lot of items i'm fucky about. However, these suspicious are not because the account itself is suspicious, but part of what any regular user would do to make sure they aren't trading with a scammer. The account isn't obvious so to say it's obvious would virtually be an unfounded argument.
