Hey, it's me. So recently I have been a bit of a dick to people and have annoyed alot of people with my donator weapons. At the time I thought I was having a bit of fun, overhealing people, calling people "dicks wads" etc and for that I deeply apologize. I am not asking for your forgiveness, no... I was a complete idiot and in my own fun I forgot that other people want to play the game as well. I know that for some what I did was stupid beyond belief but I hope that we can put my past idiocy behind and we can become friends. I will be refraining my language I will stop overhealing people so often but most of all I will stop being a complete and utter arse to people. Now, I don't know what you really did wrong or even who you are. However many people wouldn't bother making a thread to take responsibility for their actions or even actually apologize after doing wrong. You're a pretty kool kat.
You can not abuse your donator abilities. Do not apologize, you bought the right to use them and you can use them how you like. Ignore the others saying it is wrong, n0name gave you it in exchange for keys/money and so you have the right to use it how you want too. If he did not want you having the bonus he would have not given you it. Such as you can not abuse resizeme, Downy even said so as you bought the VIP and it is not a serious server, or the medigun. But thank you for realizing perhaps your language is not of the kindest sort.
Why do you think you can't abuse something you paid for? Jackboy clearly did abuse with his weapons and he is sorry for it, stop thinking because you paid money for donator benefits that you can then start abusing your goodies.
The money goes to the server, N0name put the resizeme into the game for players to use when they want how they want, there might be cases when the gun/stickies may be abused but seriously its only on a server where it doesnt matter, the sniper may be abused if used to spawncamp but seriously why would n0name add a weapon and give it to them if he didnt want them to use it at all. It would not be; Yeah you can have it, but you can only use it once a week. IT IS FOR HIM TO USE HOW HE WANTS TOO.
I mean my medigun along with my trash-talking. My sniper was replaced a couple of days ago because I thought it was a little bit too overpowered. to the point where I could kill people who also had donator weapons without blinking an eye. people who i gave 10k health could barely get a shot in when i came out :3
Talking to you is like trying to talk to a wall, you can abuse something you paid for whether you like it or not, you can't just simply accept the fact that donator weapons can be abused, because donator weapons cause nothing but rage, and most people who use them then gain giant e-penis, also So this sentence is suggesting you can spawn camp with your goodies.
But still n0name threatened him with a ban for abusing his donation priveleges. So what is correct, is it okey to use them as much as you want or is it not? A clarification from the owner on this matter would be interesting. Edit: It's good that you apologize for harsh language. Whenever they "abuse" their donator weapons/powers, the admins are still able to ban them if necessary. They still have to follow the server rules. They are there for every one, donators won't get an exception on those rules since they paid for extra powers.
If jackboys being a twod, just headshot him xD On a serious note, trade is not a serious competitive server, its for trading. The killing is for shits n giggles. True, donators are subjects to the rules as are all, however the simple use of the donator weapons shouldnt be an issue. Aslong as he doesnt spawnkill with them or something. The whole point of rewarding people with high power weaponry is to advertise the option of donating to the community. In short, if people dont like him using these powers, they should either donate themselves, or just trade, since, yknow, its a trade server. Just mah opiniun
The argument you're facing, amusingly enough is that "But I want to kill people on it and that guy with the donator weapon makes it too hard". Yeah it's unfair, but the trade server still IS for trading.
He is allowed to use any weapon in whatever way he wants to. He is, however, still legally obliged to obey to the laws of FoG.
I already told you my opinion: you paid for those weapons, therefore you can use them to kill whoever you want, as long as you don't break usual rules (the non spawncamping one mainly). Regarding the trashtalk, you're for sure not the only one doing it, admins do that too every once in a while. Anyway, it will be really appreciated if you'll try your best to decrease it.
