    So I've been wondering..
How the f*ck has the PP-Bizon | Sand Dashed (Battle-Scarred) been sold 588 times on the steam market IN THE LAST 24 HOURS?!
And it's not just that skin, there are a lot of skins like that, mostly the grey stuff from the older collections.
Who would buy that and why? Especially since Field-Tested or Minimal Wear mostly aren't even more expensive for these skins.

I can't come up with a reasonable explanation myself, got any ideas?

I'm not that sure, but iirc, they're used to bet.

Weapons that you receive in a trade-up contract are determine by the condition of the skins you put in, so it would make no sense to use battle-scarred. Also, you can't make any sort of profit since most of the skins you can receive are also worth 3 cents.

That would make a little sense but.. You can just bet with cases? I just don't see any reason why you'd buy battle-scarred shit of the market D:

My assumption these days is that Valve auto-buys them below a certain price ($0.04 USD) so the market doesn't get overfilled.

Shouldn't this guy get banned or something? :D

I refuse to believe that. Why would people spend money on buying that many bad skins? When factory new costs the same?
