Expired Bhop Cheats?

Not sure if I should report this or not, but yesterday there was a cheating player on the bhop server.

It's the first time I've seen something like this, he basically strafed left+right very fast, basically unnoticable. He had different settings and wasn't even trying to hide it, he talked to Pommes and me about it. He also had something going that gave him the ability to stop midair, turn, and continue as if nothing happened.
I can post a demo, but last time I tried recording the demo played back at like 0.5 fps, so not fun to watch.
Playing the demo still works though, and you only have to watch a bit to see what I mean

The FPS thing makes me completely unable to see anything at all, but judging by your description of it, sounds a lot like scripting, which i saw another case of on the other community im admin in. Basically its makes all of your actions automated, scripting is usually used in competitive games to be able to keep bhopping, where the computer basically does everything.

Scripting is basically hacking, so if anyone can confirm that what happened in the demos is true, that the suspect in the given case is gaining speed without actually moving the mouse, then im gonna perm him and request a deletion of his records, if they are map records or the like.

Ye, I guess. You can reduce the lag by playing around with host_framerate but that makes the demo playback itself very slow, it's just a very unpleasant bug. Didn't think about it when I was recording though.

Might've been an autohotkey script, all it did was flick the mouse 1 pixel left and right while also using a and d, so he could strafe normally while gaining insane speeds (also when just going straight)
Worth noting is that he said the number 1 player from that map was using it as well, the map was bhop_horseshit_1 iirc.

The guy who can confirm what we saw is Pommes, I'm not sure if he has a forum account but he used to be #1 on bhop so you can probably find him there if you don't want to add him.

The kid who scripted was really bad though, I don't think he finished the map even once albeit playing for 10+ minutes.

 

Quick question, what is the current record on bhop_horseshit_1?

Bunny hop scripts doesn't work on TF2 anymore. Valve Removed "Speed Acceleration gained from movement" back in 2007
The only case here is that he is either very good at bunny hopping or he has a LmaoBox or whatever shit he installed

the word "csgo" actually never fell. but with a bit of logical thinking you could figure out that massta applied for csgo admin, that you dont play a lot of tf2 and that tf2 has no bhop server.
