What Happened

Levi added the victim and told him he'd pay 2,500 keys for his Sunbeams polar pollover. He told him that he's collect the keys within 3 days, if the victim accepts a trade offer containing a bunch of crappy paints and other items. However, he has now removed the victim and privated his profile, immediately upon the trade completing.

For the record, I had no intention on buying his scammed hat. Any conversation that we had was me leading him on, giving him reason to continue giving me information and keeping me added long enough for me to gather evidence for a full report.

We're investigating this, but would like some more info.

Could I please get some more information:
- screenshot taken from the Steam client, completely uncropped, showing the trade offering containing the unusual, with the URL bar displayed, and;
- another from a web browser with your cursor hovering of the image/avatar of the person who sent the offer (accused), this should be uncropped and contain the full window.
- as an additional piece of evidence could I also get the victims Inventory History, uncropped and taken from the Steam client, with the URL bar enabled. This should contain all trades from the day before the scam, until now.
- any screenshots of chat between the victim and the accused if they are available.

No, sorry. If you really think that's necessary then go ahead and archive this. There's more than enough evidence here to warrant a tag and if you disagree, I hope you sleep at night knowing that this kid, who admitted to scamming $3,000 is gonna get away. I have already put far more time into this report than I would have liked and frankly the victim is so ignorant about steam it would literally be a massive waste of time to get him to understand how to do any of this.

 

Here is the first one of the screenshots that apparently doesn't work. I can'tt find the second one (the last part of venom's conversation) but it probably doesn't add anything, we already have more than enough evidence
