Ok here is the story, I was buying sniper unusuals from a guy named MegaRobato. I had wanted to trade with him but he had told me to add him on steam. I had added him on steam and made on offer for his cloud 9 dread riding hood. I had told him that I would offer him my sniper unusual which was a dread 9 panama. He had agreed to the trade and then had told me that he would need to talk to his friend about it. He had came back saying he had accepted the trade and we both got our items. After the trade I was just about to remove him since I only added him for the trade, he had msged me saying "IS THIS CLOUD 9?" and he said I told him that it was circling hearts which I had never stated that untill later on the msgs because I was very confused at the time. I do not think this was a quick-switch scam because I never had any item to quickswitch it with, my offer was the same to when he said he would accept it. When I told him it was supposed to be circling hearts (after the trade never once said it was before it!) I did not mean to say that because I messed up and got confused between the effects. He had also told me he checked my backpack and agreed to do the trade. I honestly think I should be given another chance. I had removed him after the trade because he was really bugging me about something that was his own fault and his own misunderstanding. He had asked me if I was scamming him and I said it was not because I had never told him my offer was a circling hearts panama but it was a cloud 9 panama.

I do not have any chat logs because I closed out of the tab after I had removed him off my steam account.

If you need to me to provide screenshots I will try my best but I can't really find a way to get the chat screenshots.

He had also mentioned that I had blocked him when I did not. I just removed him because I was done with the trade and don't want to keep unwanted people on my friends list. ​

Just my 2 cents:
You knew you had a C9 Panama yet you continued with the act hoping he would not check; he didn't and he sent the offer. Then you proceeded to clearly state that it was supposed to be C.Hearts, obviously a lie, and unadded him quickly to avoid the con you just pulled off.

This is a broken trade agreement which is against Steamrep rules. It's the same as me trading you 30 keys for a 50 key hat and promising to pay 20 more in paypal, yet I unadd you and never send the money.

 

In this case I'd say it would be best to reverse the trade.

 

I knew I had a cloud 9 panama and I offered him it for his dread 9, it was his fault for thinking it was circling hearts. I had only said it was circling hearts by a mistake after the trade had been completed, though I understand I will add him on steam and re trade him for the same value of the items.

I have added the victim giving him several offers to repay him back with equal or more of the price and he does not want any of the items I am offering him.

 

So I guess Im Taking this Spec Ks Fac New Thunderbolt Sniper Rifle that worth about 30 ish keys as a payment for his con. Id much rather reverse the trade but it seems like hes already sold or gave the hood to a scammers backpack, even though he had it at the time that he first added me. Id also much rather get something else over this rifle but ill just take what i can get so yeah.. This is the statement or whatever
