I assume most people here know who I am...

Ye, ye, I'll be trying to accomplish the impossible.
When I told people that I am going to create a ban appeal they've been laughing at me, for a good reason.

Anyway, since I am banned I've been playing on probably every Achivment Idle Server that exists in Tf2 to replace the FoG one. I don't know why but I wasn't really happy on any of them. Maybe it's because I've been playing on FoG since I started playing Tf2 or maybe because most of my friends play there. No other server gives me that satisfaction like the Achivment Idle of yours does.

I know, I know, I treated the whole community like shit and acted like a complete dumbass. Probably because I didn't know how much I actually appreciate playing on your servers. Well, it took a couple of bans for me to realize that.

So, what I am trying to say is that I'd love to be able to play on your servers again. And let me tell you, I am not that type of person who comes back crawling on the knees begging for forgiveness but this really means alot to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if you just insta-close this thread because I shouldn't be expecting anything else anyway.
But I want to give it a try. No, I have to give it a try because what other choices do I have left.

I'd be more than happy if you could think about it and maybe consider giving me yet another chance. ​

 

Edit: .ax just explained to me that my Steam ID and stuff is supposed to be at the SteamRep Block section.
I haven't been active on the forum for a while. I thought this was about steamrep trade bans or something like that.
Would be nice if a mod could edit that since I am not able to do it myself.

To the people whose thoughts jump to the negative side of this coin, I'd ask that you all look at yourselves for a moment - if you had done something (you know you have at some point) that'd anger a certain group, you'd eventually be guilt tripped by your own actions and eventually muster up the courage to try to make things right

Quite frankly speaking, is this the kind of example you want to give people that consider appealing for bans?
You're making it hard for me to judge who is worse at that point.

People can change, and I've honestly seen worse cases happen around here - if those people could be forgiven, why not someone who clearly came back with a genuine apology?

At first I want to tell you it is nice to see that you have reflected on yourself that you haven't been the nicest person around with the bans to prove.

However you say you regret what you have done and state that you have changed, I don't see any competences to prove it. What I like to ask you is how you could prove us you have changed.

 

I'm not quite sure what Ethe was like in the past, I only know him as the person he's now. I've got to know him through a couple of the server regulars, we've played on some other servers and to be completely honest, I really do have a hard time believing that he would violate the server rules again.

As Darkregen did, in my opinion Ethe should get a second chance too.

Do you have people from other servers we van contact about, tell why you have changed and how we could see you did. I know it is hard, but in fact it is basic self reflection. I hope this helps you a bit for you to make a start.

Example:
I was afraid of heights but I have worked on it. You can notice the difference because nowadays I get less anxious when I stand on a balcony at 5 stories high.

 

Well, actually I do not. I wanted to offer adding random people on my friendlist you could ask about me. But then I realized that I actually barely know any of them. Most of them are FoG regulars I still have contact with or traders from Outpost. But you can try that anyway, if you want to.

About that example, Uh, well. Self reflection. Uhm, does that mean you want to hear a story about my life and how things turned out or what?

 

No, it is not the story of your life. Let's say, that's private and we are not interested in that.

It is just to state what went wrong, what you have done about it and how we could see that.

 

Alright then, let's see.

The worst things I did, according to the community:
-Kicking/Banning players for no valid reason (when I was still admin)
-Giving the weapons of my Medic Loadout Nazi related names
-Overall bad behavior towards people I can't stand
-Accepting the invite to Dark's Anti-FoG group

Things that changed:
- I am not admin anymore
- I sold the Nazi related stuff
- I learned that you can get rid of annoying people way easier by just killing them instead of insulting them
- Dark's group got deleted (I think)

But the main thing that changed is that I am able to control my anger better.

 

Why did you try to evade your ban with an alt for a few months?

 

For the same reason why I am doing this ban appeal. I wanted to play on the server again.

 

I will review the information you have given and discuss it with other staff members. It is possible we come up with more questions in the near future.

 

I am willing to answer any question. As I said, this really means alot to me.

I dont know the guy personally but i know a close friend of his and i have heard he can be a really nice person.

Everyone does bad things i know, but a second chance wouldnt hurt would it?

He deserves a chance just as Dark got his.

 

Okay, I came to a final verdict.

We will grant you a second chance, but there are some conditions.

• For a while we will monitor you closely the first time.
• We don't want to see your behavior from the past about being harsh to people in our community
• We will consider a next ban as 4th ban policy (it is able to expire after good behavior)
