Welp, atm, I was very, very uncareful (he was impersonating Strife atm, my comp was broken so I have to use public computer to trade, that's why I couldn't do a proper checking and just went to his profile, clicked the profile link of real Strife then believed he was real Strife). How foolish I was atm. After that, I admitted that I had done some few more trades (with some Australiums with him). Until I realized he was nepek, he threatened me to report me on SteamRep if I stopped buying his stuffs (and I immediately blocked him). And up to now, he keeps harassing me with this.
But well, I have tried my best to hide this (I even have to lie penek that I will return to buy his stuff, never made any trades with him until yesterday, when I accidentally bought his Australium Tomislav). I do believe this is all I can say now. I wouldn't say that I'm innocent for whatever mistakes I made so I'm ready to receive what I deserved. Looking forward to your judgement now.

Also, worth to note that this report was made as a follow through to blackmail. I told penek I did not want to trade with him anymore, and I removed and blocked him. He continued to add me back to harass me, and now has made this report. I did not wish to trade with him, but I was blackmailed into continuing. I have heard that blackmail reports are rejected here, and hope that this case does not break precedent.

Do you have any conversations backing the blackmail claim? If so please screenshot the entire convo and upload to our file server and paste the links as a reply.

Sadly, I didn't screenshot everytime I had a conversation with him as whenever I knew it was nepek, I removed and blocked his alt immediately so basically, no screenshot from my side.

How does a public computer inhibit your reputation checking abilities...? Even I can go to steamrep or just google a steam id 64 and see that he is marked, without visiting the page itself on my school computer. And you're saying that you use one public computer to trade, given the 7 day or whatever trade ban when you log in with a new computer? No one else uses it?

also his 4 games and low hours didn't tick anything off the scammer alt guidelines?

Because normally, when I use my own laptop, I always have Steam Enhanced on my Chrome to do all the work of reputation checking, which made me less carefully when checking someone reputation without it. Also, worth to note that he used custom IDs, which is "lifewithstriee" (close to lifewithstrife) so he caught my guard off again.
And I have visited the exact net cafe a lot of time to play DotA2 with my friends for a long time, which makes the computer there no longer new to me so no 7 day trade ban. I even use it to trade whenever I can't access my laptop.
About the low-hour, well, actually, I didn't check this, all I noticed was that he had high Steam level + being "Strife". I have never expected a scammer could spend that much money on an alt.

After some internal discussion, we have decided that the accused will receive a Full tag for repeated trades with the marked scammer.

In the case of blackmailing, you have had many chances to take screenshots as proof and yet there are none. You could have even reported the blackmailing to SteamRep, but neither was this done. Not having Enhanced Steam to depend on was an even greater reason to be checking his SteamID64 within SteamRep, especially when there are plenty of impersonators around - not just quickly eyeballing custom URLs.

As you know, SteamRep and its partner communities do not condone trading with scammers. When trading with scammers who most likely scammed the Unusuals/Keys/SKins/ETC that they are trading, you are directly helping the scammer profit.

In the future, we hope you continue trading with safer practices and refrain for trading with scammers.
