Implemented The addition of Head Admins

So this is a pretty big idea that I've, and presumably others, been speculating about for some time now.
The idea revolves around adding a new admin rank to our community, Head Admin.
This admin rank will be above Senior Admin and below Veteran Admin, if implemented.

The idea first came to mind when I saw the processing of some suggestions and activity checks.
While we have a great set of VA's to take care of these things, they're still human.
Meaning some processes are handled poorly or not at all.
This is where the idea comes in.

The rank of Head Admin could be assigned to any Senior Admin in a specific servergroup or server, depending on the amount of admins of course.
A Head Admin could be in charge of a specific section, for example Trade, Custom or Normal.
Some sections could even be split up for better maintenance. (1 HA per trade server for example.)

The admin is then charged with the following tasks;
-Actively keep track of other admins' activity.
-Make a breakdown of how the other admins use their power.
-Compile the above into a little report for the VA's to take a look at.
-Get more responsibility and importance regarding reports/appeals that have to do with your server.

This is for the people who are willing to volunteer and improve the community even further.
After all, we keep growing as a community.
Eventually there's going to be too much work for just a small group of people.
Having a system like this greatly decreases the amount of work for the people who currently take care of these problems.

Feedback is much appreciated, and remember; it's just an idea.

EDIT: The Head Admins could also receive Veteran Admin powers only on their specified servers.

I like the idea but how will we decide who will be the head admin of the server? Will other admins vote for them or they will be picked by Downy/ Downie if they volunteer?

 

Yeah I like the idea and as Tranqy said it was discussed earlier but never implemented

The rank should be picked by Downy, Downie or n0name in my opinion, ofc other admins might vote for them.

 

If this ends up being implemented they will be chosen by us.

It's around the same lines as the way Veteran Admins are chosen.

On a serious note i think its a pretty neat idea.

Why not have it so that instead of having head admins for individual servers like you suggested, so one for trade, one for achievement etc. but group them together. So for instance, you could group Trade and Achievement together and pick out an admin from amongst those groups to become a head admin for both servers, and then you could group VSH and Jailbreak and then pick a head admin for both servers. I don't personally see the point in having one head admin for every separate game mode, I doubt the work they'd be given would justify it when I bet that one head admin could easily handle looking at activity etc. for multiple servers (mainly depending on how many admins are actually allocated to the server). Especially seeing as servers like Hightower, VSH, Mario Kart and Deathrun have a very low admin count.
Also, I feel like the admins of the servers should get a say in who their head admin would be, even if it is the VAs making the final decision.

Obviously all of this stuff only applies if the suggestion got accepted.

 

As long as I remain High King of Unusual Trade I have no quarrel with this.

Would this mean that the head admins gets more powers than seniors or simply that they are to supervise the admins?

They should obviously be picked with extremely delicacy as some might get the impression that they will receive more powers and get more priviliges as they "rank up"

Coming back onw hat you said in your reply, I don't know powerwise what HA's would be able to do.
The higher-ups will have to decide that for themselves.

 

I would suggest the power to be untargetable by the SA, be able to see SA's commands executed, be able to see their playtime.
They should be able to request to remove someones admin temp if they lose activity with proof.
^ ^ if they have abused and the admin has proof.
